As usual Jobs for the boys. Can’t see what he will bring to the table.
Disappointed in this really but expected of course.

And Paul Kent says the Titans deny they’re interested in a swap, they wanted to take Maloney too, if the Panthers had cap pressure.
I'd love to see Maloney in green.

I'm not sure anyone is denying that. The problem is the criteria the raiders use to identify 'best candidate'. What has either Brett white or cappy achieved in terms of coaching that would make them appealing? We all know why they were hired and unfortunately it has nothing to do with ability.

That is the number one thing holding our club back.
Defeatist attitude.
Hit and hope administration.
Happy to be contenders every couple of years.
It sucks to be trapped into this as a supporter, it really is.

McFadden has more experience than White, and is probably suited to the assistance coach role, esp at a club where the 'top dog' needs a follower #2. As far as I can see, he has done an ok job in that role before. Any other position worries me, which is my concern, as its a defensive coach we are looking for/ need.
Fensom would be a perfectly acceptable depth middle option. He was actually pretty good for the Cows this yr and last playing prop off the bench. Its the same role Bateman is playing for us ATM. Depth only.

Players 25-30 don't get a game for us anyway. May as well give Fensom a minimum deal over players like Makatoa and Hunt if he wants it.

Yes. One game doesn’t make a career.
But it will be 6. Sezer 7. Williams come Round 1.

Bit harsh to compare McFadden to White or Furner, especially with the non-Raiders experience he has.

I'd take take Fensom back providing he is on small wages and is to be used to provide depth and competition for places.
1. Wighton
2. Cotric
3. Croker
4. Leilua
5. Rapana
6. Sezer
7. Williams
8. Lui
9. Hodgson
10. Papalii
11. Tapine
12. Whitehead
13. J. Bateman
14. Havili
15. Soliola
16. Guler
17. Sutton
18. L.Bateman
19. Fensom
20. Hingano
21. Oldfield
22. Murchie
23. Knight
24. Abbey
25. Makatoa
Still some obvious concerns, but I'd be confident if this team lives up to its potential we can still do something. I like the mobility. But then again we have super coach...

We will still sign 3 or 4 players before the season starts. Maybe 1 or 2 by November and then 2 after train and trial. Hopefully there is a Havilli amongst them.
I'd assume there are also 2 development players definitely going up (Horsburgh, O'Hagen) and the rest are maybes.

The Murray bloke from souths would be a really good get from us.
We miss a bit of mongrel especially at the end of games.

Love him as a player. Future rep honours await. Souths would have to be insane to let him go.

Few ifs and buts here.
If Luke signs for Newcastle I’d definitely look at getting Levi to replace Garvey/Baptiste if you can get him cheap.
well, I guess you could say that I'm buy curious.

Id take a punt on Levi, even Griffin after ACL 1000. Griffin has more utility value, and if this season is anything to go by, a better 9 than Levi too.

If we are going to play Jack at 6, might be worth inquiring about Dylan Edwards from Penrith to play FB.
Gus is always on about letting players go if they can get a better offer elsewhere and DWZ has filled in well at FB and they might keep him there.

Would be a good get, even with his injury record.

I wouldn’t. Levi is low key proper ****
He’s the knights version of Travis Waddell
Has never sniffed reaching the heights people thought he would.
Baptaste and Havilli are on the books and are significantly better players than Levi

Isn’t he? I thought he was on his way back? Wasn’t there a bunch of articles around June-July about how we signed jk to come back?
Even if he’s not, we can do better than Levi. He sucks
