Poor coaching from Siebold to have Britt and Hunt on the bench and not use them at all (from what I could tell). You can't do that in a finals match.

Absolutely awful refereeing, great game. I'm not sure how to reconcile this. There were key decisions which all seemed to favour the Rabbits, those being the not-forward pass, the drag over the sideline, and one that didn't get noticed, Inglis in front of the kicker on the try where he rolled over Slater. You can tell I was backing the Storm. I'm sure there were others from both sides I missed. But mostly, it was a sceramingly good game because the refs policed the seven with vigour...

So does letting defences get constantly offside increase fatigue in both teams and make the game open up more excitingly? Or does it just mean there are fewer highlights altogether but the ones that there are be crash hot?

And how could that be codified?

A couple of things maybe of note with respect to the Raiders: Vunivalu remonstrating with the touch judge instead of playing to the whistle. Some of our guys do it a lot, sure, but players at every club do it.

Also, Seibold only used 15 players. I don’t know who he left on the bench, so maybe they were better off without them. A fresh guy or two might have made a difference, but he’s been doing it a lot and they finished top 4. (We knocked them off though, so who knows how good they really are). Stuart using 16/17 is not some maverick move, it happens at other clubs all the time. Not saying he’s right to do it, but there are better reasons to criticise him. Anyway.

Good game last night.

- just checked and Hymel Hunt was one of the guys left on the bench, so they probably were right in that instance anyway.

Dumb footy from Penrith.

Woeful offload from Kikau, then last set on last tackle Clearly plays the ball and Maloney is ready on the right - but the dummy half decides to **** it up and put a **** grubber in

I wouldn’t have minded the Warriors winning the premiership, but looks like they’ll go out first week. I really dislike Penrith. Can’t see the Panthers beating the Sharks or Roosters though.

I guess I’ll be hoping for a Storm premiership from here.

Most hated:

Broncos
Roosters
Sharks
Rabbitohs
Panthers
Dragons

How big a turnaround was the stupid offload by Blair in the 1st half? Warriors had all the momentum at that point. Been Panthers ever since.

Warriors were about then only team I would have been happy to see win it. The remaining 7 teams are all tough to support.
