People need to get there head read if there happy to knock back James Maloney, and the comparison to Austin is outrageous.

People on here reject Woods, Tamou, Moloney, MaGuire, Bennett...

No-one is good enough except Poms they've never seen before. So far we're 2 good uns and 1 absolute dud there... Hope we have 2 more good uns in the pipeline, otherwise we are stuffed.

Maloney won’t move to Canberra, we would have to pay such overs that we can’t afford. Won’t happen (I’d love it to happen)

I've always thought if there was a superstar who wouldn't mind coming to Canberra it'd be Maloney, mainly cause he grew up in Orange and wouldn't mind the cold and the country town side of things.
Ah, might as well jump (Jump!) Might as well jump Go ahead an' jump (jump!) Go ahead and jump Ow oh, hey you! Who said that?

FROG wrote: August 18, 2018, 12:42 pm I reckon Wighton to 5/8 is a good move. Sure he failed last time but he is not the player he was last time. We also have a much more dominant 9 this time. I've been critical of his positioning at the back for a while but cannot doubt his defense or running game...
Stuart tried Wigjton at half in his first few years as coach and it was a total utter failure.
Then we had an injury at FB Stuart put him there , Wigjton is not a half or FB his best position is at Centre,
While he’d be a very good centre he’d be wasted there unless being paid 300k or so. His ball play from the back is just about the best in the business.
Wighton plays a lot like Darius Boyd from Brisbane. Runs a great sweep play but a shift to 5/8 is still a stretch. Centre or fullback is where he is best but I would be happy to move him on with the depth we have and buy a first class half.

With Austin, Boyd and Paulo gone. Sutton, Bateman and Guler coming in, Maloney is the only piece in the puzzle left to fill in.
Get him Stick!

He is a Country boy from Orange and has moved everywhere to play, if the price is right...

Is there a business in Canberra that can just give him a truck load of money?

He is a high profile player off contract, so of course the Roosters are rumored to be interested.
Only reason Bronx arent, is because they already have him.

I so hope they can pull it out. With him in the pack we could play such basic footy and then let the right edge finish off our attack.

Please make it happen footy gods

Why are we looking at ANOTHER high priced forward? Why not a frigging half?

I hope not. We’ve had enough scandals to last a lifetime.

They better keep it in!

You're kidding if you don't think TPJ isn't worth every penny. Then man's a deadset beast. Will be the best forward in the game by the end of 2020.

Because he is a genuine 80min stud forward who could well be the best forward in the game in the next couple of yrs.

He could be as dominant as a Kapow, Fifi or Surgess sooner rather than later given this yrs form.

If u dont believe me, watch the 1st 30mins of Bronx vs Panthers at Suncorp this yr. Then remember he played that game with a very dodgey hammy

The question is how could we possibly afford one of the hottest properties on the open market after all the talk about our cap situation??
Is it bulldust as a negotiation tactic? (Would be excellent)
Pipe dream not even being considered?
How many prized possessions do we need to offload?

86 SC points in 32 mins that game
