Boyd named at centre for the Broncos
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
My Free Money tip of the week
Sportsbet (nrl sponsor) are offering 3-1 odds on broncos H2H (since Sutton has been demoted to a non important match and won’t be there to push them over the line like his last 33/34 games at scumcorp or whatever it is between the 2 Sutton’s)
$25 on broncos 3–1
$25 on Sharks @2.10-1 (sWilliam Hill)
Worst case you win $2.50
Other worst case, broncos win but you win $25
Free money!

2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
The bits I saw from the opening 20 mins reminded me why I don’t watch broncos home games
- sharks run around their own players, so they run back and drop to the ground to correct it: penalty broncos obstruction
- ball is knocked from Fifita’s hands and goes a lot more forward than Hodgson’s strip: broncos ball
- Moylan tries to get up at marker, the tackled player runs off his mark and knocks Moylan over instead of standing up and playing the ball as he should: penalty broncos
2 of those decisions change the possession from sharks to broncos and the other leads to a try. 3 very bad calls cause massive swings of momentum.
I’m out

Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
Broncos also had a blocker ignored by the refs that was no better or worse than the Raiders were penalised for last weekend.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
Townsend hitting the goal post and missing the conversion from almost in front almost improved my mood. Until I realised we need the Broncos to lose.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
There was at LEAST one penalty in that set on the Broncos goal line to the Sharks. Whistle in the pocket. At LEAST one!
Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
Broncos getting every single 50/50 call. Imagine the surprise I am facing each week.
Shoving it in your face since 2017
Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
Agree on the Broncos calls GE, they got EVERYTHING. It's obscene.
Cronulla would be half a chance at doing something in the finals if they could just get Gallen out of there. I don't care what his stats say, he's useless. He tackles 2 useless hit ups a set, and almost always the one on the 4th when the ball should be with Moylan, Holmes, Graham or someone creative yet that pot plant puts his head down to make 8 metres no matter where they are on the park. Utterly hopeless these days.

We continue to **** about with blokes that are part of some fraternity. It's infuriating.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
broncos were always going to get the rub, backlash on the sharks from our game on top of their usual rub.

Why didn't the Newcastle Knights suffer further penalty when Levi refused to run off the field? Should have been sent off... or the team should have been marched 10 every second he refused to depart quickly.
Why is Mitchell Pearce being allowed to stay on the field with blood streaming down his nose from his forehead?

How on earth do the referees allow that pass, while disallowing the Joey Leilua pass?

Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
Can't have it both ways, either have a fixed draw or 5 week blocks like it was
Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
Nine should have known.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
I was watching Canberra Raiders Cup, but it seems the Panthers scored 22 points in seven minutes to beat the Sea Eagles. A Panthers loss would have been good for us.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
The Dragon's look like the March premiers again. Poor for a team with 5 origin players and 2 English internationals.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 20: Teams and Game Day
Hopefully we can deliver that loss to the Panthers next week GE. I will be a Dragons fan for an afternoon next Saturday when they play the Warriors. With the Warriors getting the wobbles they are our only chance for season redemption. I know we have just been flogged but to me we are now at the South pole. From here every direction is UP. You know I am a glass half full bloke
