At present, the goldfish have the Cowboys v Broncos leading on 35 per cent, Raiders v Tigers on 26 per cent. Time to get behind the greatest grand final of all time... 1989.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Re: Vote 1989 Grand Final
Considering you have to be close to 40 to recall the game it's pretty amazing it still has a good shot at winning.

We really need to spread this news... and get Raiders fans to vote!

89 GF all the way. Admit I’d e tempted to vote Cowboys in 2015 purely for the devastation experienced by the Broncos.

Re: Vote 1989 Grand Final
89 Grand Final had so many twists and turns. 2015 was great but didn’t have the same level of amazing moments throughout the match.

Yeah, I was ready for Milford winning the Clive Churchill, the darkest timeline.Northern Raider wrote: ↑July 20, 2018, 5:43 pm 89 GF all the way. Admit I’d e tempted to vote Cowboys in 2015 purely for the devastation experienced by the Broncos.
