What do you do for work now?
My wife and I own a wipes company. When I say wipes I mean gym wipes, office wipes and so on. We sort of fell into that we owned a couple of Anytime Fitness franchises when we moved to Queensland about ten years ago. We ended up making our own gym wipes company which we manufacture all our products out of China and now supply the majority of the big fitness chains around Australia now, so it's quite exciting.

I remember him because one of those 4 games was a finals game (Woolford was out suspended I assume ) and in one instance all he had to do was pass to his lead runner and we were through a huge hole but he threw a dummy that fooled no one and he got tackled. Blew a huge chance

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

I kinda feel sorry for him, but he'd be too dumb to appreciate it. The club tried so hard to help him out, but his he and his idiot manager Riolo didn't want a bar of it.
Sad really.
Re: Ex Raiders... where are they now?
Fair call, I see agents as sales people, and they see the player as $ bills, a player like Carney would be too dumb to see whats really best for himself.Seiffert82 wrote: ↑July 8, 2018, 8:31 amYep. The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Former Canberra Raiders prop Brent Todd is in the tattoo game
Former Canberra Raiders star Brent Todd has popped up in Bali where he co-owns a tattoo parlour. He co-owns Bali Ink tattoo studios in Kuta and Seminyak with Australian friend George Psardouis.
“I still spend time back in Queensland, but I am based in Kuta now and I love it,” he said. “I have been coming to Bali for more than 20 years as my wife Wendy [Botha] used to surf professionally up here. Late last year I signed on with George and we opened the second Bali Ink studio in Seminyak. Life is great.”

Canberra Raiders great Ruben Wiki's astonishing body transformation stuns fans
Former New Zealand international Ruben Wiki made his name as a destructive ball-runner with the Canberra Raiders – playing more than 300 first grade games over a stellar career. But the 45-year-old has turned heads with a series of snaps that show off his incredible new physique.
Wiki recently finished second in the Novice Physique division of the Auckland amateur bodybuilders’ competition over the weekend.
