Re: 2018 NRL Round 16: Teams and Game Day
Hayne needs to find another dream. His head is not in the game.
Dragons have looked a bit shakey for a few games now. If they can't start improving a bit I reckon they're in trouble.

Dragons problem is similar to ours imo. Coach without good strategy. Don’t expect them to go anywhere with Mary.

Channel 9 lol, the ball clearly held up.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 16: Teams and Game Day
It's a rare sport or competition where the team running 1st almost (and should've) lost to the team coming last.
I sort of thought Parra might go ok in that match because they were fresh and you can see it catching up with the Dragons now. Graham and Widdop had the Denver trip, Frizell was out, Ben Hunt was reeling from Origin, Vaughan and De Belin would have been on the cans half the week celebrating Origin. It just felt like if Arthur got Parra to bring any sort of enthusiasm, they were going to trouble St George. I think the Dragons will be OK though.

We continue to **** about with blokes that are part of some fraternity. It's infuriating.

Re: 2018 NRL Round 16: Teams and Game Day
I think they're virtually gone. Hunt got injured - I think it was the game before we played them - and he hasn't been right since. Their forward pack isn't as damaging as the first 10 games of the year and I just can't see them turning it around. I have no doubt they will limp into the finals and then possibly out in straight sets.Woodgers wrote: ↑June 29, 2018, 10:20 am It's a rare sport or competition where the team running 1st almost (and should've) lost to the team coming last.

Look forward to a penalty being blown from when Croker is run off the ball now that they’ve suddenly started penalising this again

Poor play from Isaac Luke. Was the only player in front of the kicker. All he had to do was stay out of the play.

Sharks really got the rub of the green in that game. Still only fell in.

Re: 2018 NRL Round 16: Teams and Game Day
Absolutely shocking forward pass call, cost the Warriors the game at the death. Guess there were swings and roundabouts but it would be hard to take.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 16: Teams and Game Day
Adelaide Oval has masses of vacant seats. Doesn’t look good on TV.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 16: Teams and Game Day
Game sounds boring too, not helping the cause
Re: 2018 NRL Round 16: Teams and Game Day
They would have been better off playing it at Hindmarsh Stadium
Re: 2018 NRL Round 16: Teams and Game Day
Really makes u wonder how far down Brodie Croft has fallen down the pecking order.....Ryley Jacks out, so they choose Jahrome Hughes....not a bad player but Croft is def better.
Croft must have really p******d off the coaching staff and Cam smith to continually be overlooked. Wud love to see him in green!

Commentators in the first half: Latrell used to be the kind of player who’d nail a goal from the sideline and miss one from in front, he’s grown so much as a player now
Latrell in the 2nd half: nails a goal from the sideline and misses from right in front...

2018 NRL Round 16: Teams and Game Day
Why did the 2nd rower pick the ball up from the scrum?? That is THE dumbest thing I’ve seen in a scrum.. Orful knock on included.

When Cameron Smith goes for field goal he's a hero, when Havili does it he's the worst thing since spam in a cangreeneyed wrote:Cameron Smith kicks the field goal!

Well firstly Smith’s field goal actually got off the ground.

Would like to see the high angle on last field goal attempt by Roosters. Don’t think Storm had one player get back on side.

Yeah I’d like to see a replay of cronk’s field goal attempt too... I suspect the defenders were offside there

Refs simply too scared to blow penalties in these situations. All over it the previous 70 mins. Gun shy from then on.

Re: 2018 NRL Round 16: Teams and Game Day
There was a lot of penalties in the game and the commentators were whinging about it again but seriously there should have been more. The players and commentators can whinge about it all they want but because both teams were basically cheating for the whole game the final result was an absolute bludger of a game.
