Manly score a dummy half try in the fifth minute after receiving a few consecutive penalties. Conversion from in front was successful.

Warriors playing well but just can't get through a decent Manly defence.

The trainer for Manly has put some tape on the young fellas head to keep his bottom lip up.

Green parts the Red (Manly) Sea for Tohu Harris to stroll over. He looks like a stroller sort of guy. He is big though so I wouldn't say that to his face as he might get the wrong idea.

Re: 2018 NRL Round 14: Teams and Game Day
Warriors playing well but just too slow in the ruck and giving Manly every chance to stay in the match with penalties. Warriors big edges with Papaliii and Harris too hard and too big to contain. [No further comment]

This could get ugly. It's always fun watching Manly get beaten badly though.

Thank goodness the Cowboys are so bad. They make the Raiders look good.

Two very late tries to the Cowboys. Poor crowd in Darwin.

Saturday match reports.
Ferguson bags a double as Roosters outlast brave Knights
A double to in-form winger Blake Ferguson has helped the Sydney Roosters to an 18-16 win over a brave Newcastle Knights outfit at McDonald Jones Stadium.
Ferguson has now scored eight tries in 14 matches to be the leading tryscorer for the Roosters, who move to 9-3 for the season.

Hayne double snaps Eels losing run against Cowboys
Jarryd Hayne has taken flight in Blue and Gold for the first time in almost four years, sparking a 20-14 win over the Cowboys and arresting Parramatta's slide toward the wooden spoons that featured all too often in his first Eels stint.
A Hayne double – his first for his junior club since round 26, 2014, some 1372 days ago – proved the difference in an error-strewn contest at Darwin's TIO Stadium.

Warriors rout Sea Eagles in Johnson's 150th
Warriors winger David Fusitu'a scored a hat-trick of tries as Shaun Johnson celebrated his 150th NRL appearance with a five-star performance to spearhead a 34-14 defeat of Manly in Christchurch.
Fusitu'a crossed three times in nine minutes in the second half to move clear of Melbourne winger Josh Addo-Carr as the leading tryscorer in the Telstra Premiership, with 15 tries in 13 matches, while laying on a try for Johnson, who also kicked five goals in a triumphant return from injury.

Sharks beat the Tigers 24 - 16 in a pretty entertaining game. Moylan threw a wonderful cutout pass to Lee for a try. Fifita looks injured but still offloading at will.
Commentator mentioned Benji is unlikely to play next week.

Re: 2018 NRL Round 14: Teams and Game Day
It’s going to take me 80 mins to decide which team I hate more...
On one side, you’ve got the grubbiest team in the history of the game. And Cameron Smith is a complete flog.
Then you’ve got a QLD team, with Wayne Bennett and Darius Boyd. Neither need an introduction.
But at least 1 team will lose

Gee Munster looked amatuar there. Way offside, then pulls back, then gets shredded by Boyd

Thre really is no contest. As much as I dislike the Storm, the Broncos are, always have been and always will be my most despised.yeh raiders wrote:It’s going to take me 80 mins to decide which team I hate more...

Re: 2018 NRL Round 14: Teams and Game Day
In my opinion Storm aren’t going to miss the 8, Broncos may therefore I hope Broncos lose.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 14: Teams and Game Day
I dislike both sides but Broncos are the worst. Broncos scored 2 decent tries but Storm kind of switched off mentally for a period there.

Re: 2018 NRL Round 14: Teams and Game Day
Darius Boyd is the perfect example of a wanker who whinges at every opportunity and does himself absolutely no favours with the referees.
