I'm guessing something to do with funding for a high performance centre?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Two ways to get funding:

A centre of excellence
Using Blockchain

Imagine how much funding you'd get for a Blockchain Centre of Excellence

That’s last one is plausible given Mal’s political experience.

The Canberra Raiders will get a $15m centre of excellence in Braddon

The ACT government will announce $5 million in funding over three years for the Raiders centre of excellence at Northbourne Oval on Monday. Their NSW counterparts have pledged $4 million, while the Raiders Group will fund the rest. The $15 million redevelopment will see the Green Machine move their base from Bruce to the state-of-the-art facility at Braddon, which was expected to be ready by the end of 2019.

I hope the "centre of excellence" contains sufficient space for a psychology unit!
It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

I heard Ricky on the radio saying the centre of excellence will make the Raiders one of the game's top clubs.

I fail to see how an organisational culture built on nepotism and blame shifting is going to be improved by having more massage tables and fancier lat pull-down machines. At the end of the day it is the culture of the club, its leadership and lack of accountability and professionalism that has delivered 2 decades of sweet **** all.
