You have to wonder what someone has to do to be dropped by Paul Green.

A lot of soft penalties so far.

Joey Johns ready to rip into the refs, so asks for a replay .... which clearly shows that the penalty was legitimate.

Re: 2018 NRL Round 11: Teams and Game Day
Then Sterlo says it’s ok and shouldn’t have been a penalty because the West Tigers didn’t move the ball to the where the markers weren’t square ..... which very clearly happened as the play unfolded, as shown on replay.
Honestly, it’s the commentators who are supposed to love the game, who are ruining it for everyone

They’ve been just about spot on all night... and that’s from someone who absolutely hates Ben Cummins.

Whinge whinge whinge about fatigue in players.... id much rather see a proper 10 meters and high energy football.
Worst game of the season was the Dogs Roosters game. Maybe 1 or 2 tries scored all game, players absolutely exhausted and the attack was completely pedestrian all night.

I do agree they’re still inconsistent at times, but for most part they’ve been better this year and it’s a vast improvement on the offside trash we’ve seen in the last decade.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 11: Teams and Game Day
I don't have a problem with the majority of the penalties but the ruck ones annoy me. They blow them very strictly and then start judging players as milking. The Raiders constantly get called for milking but other sides receive penalties for the exact same thing.
I think they have eased off a little with the penalties in the past few weeks but tonight it seems like they're clamping down again. Be interesting to see the other games this weekend.

I noticed Sutton is refereeing the Broncos game tonight. After the debacle he provided in the Broncos/Bulldogs game; and I think it was also mentioned that he had refereed Broncos for 14 consecutive wins; it could be one of those games where I have to restrain myself from throwing something at the TV.
