Injured Raiders hooker Josh Hodgson continues rehabilitation on ACL with an aim to return deep into the Green Machine's 2018 season. Round 2 injury update

Joey Leilua (high ankle sprain) and Charlie Gubb (groin) will have scans this afternoon to determine the extent of injuries suffered in the Round 2 loss to the Knights. Results will be available on Tuesday. Joe Tapine (dislocated thumb) will not be available for Round 3, and is a week to week proposition after that.

Sezer, Soliola and Tapine in doubt for Sea Eagles

Aidan Sezer (back) and Sia Soliola (ankle) suffered injuries in Round 3 and are in doubt for the Round 4 against the Manly Sea Eagles. A decision on their fitness will be made later in the week. Joe Tapine (thumb) remains in doubt for Round 4, with his recovery being slower than expected.

Royce Hunt (knee) will miss two to three weeks, while Charlie Gubb won't return until Round 9-10.

Injury Update: Round 18

Brad Abbey is set to miss one match following a concussion suffered late in Saturday's match, with medical staff ruling him out of action for this weekend. Shannon Boyd is also set to miss 2-3 weeks after he failed to complete the match with a calf injury.

Luke Bateman and Jordan Rapana will be assessed ahead of the team announcement on Tuesday to see if they are available for selection.

Throw in a Tapine suspension and we're pretty well boned. What if Raps and the batman aren't right? I'll tell you what. Ricky puts 4 noobs on the bench and plays none of them... That's what.

Injury Update: Round 19

The news is not good for the Raiders Captain, as scans reveal he'll require surgery on his knee to repair damage following a dislocation of his left kneecap. The surgery means Croker will miss the remainder of the 2018 season.

Croker is scheduled to have surgery early next week and should be ready to commence pre-season training for 2019 at the end of the year.

Horrible news. This is the type of thing that will stuff his chances of breaking points and games records.

This is an opportunity for others to progress though.
Abbey was bought to cover Wighton, so you play him at fullback to cover Wighton.
Oldfield is our backup outside back, mostly a winger, so play him on the wing.
Rapa and BJ have a great combo, so don't mess that up.
Cotric is the player who is seen as having potential elsewhere. I've said it a lot now, but I don't think fullback will be Cotric's go. He looks perfectly capable to cover the position, but I don't see the attacking requirements of a fullback. Rapana did most of the planned moves 'from fullback' last week. I think that says a lot more than Ricky taking pressure off him. I've always said Cotric looks a centre to me, played mostly centre in u20s, therefore, this is 100% Ricky's chance to give Cotric an extended run at centre.
