Well isn't that interesting. We didn't see much ball playing ability, and zero kicking game from him when he was over here.Schifty wrote:Was looking at NSW cup sides and Zac Santo is now a half back??

Bulldogs and Eels, Friday night FTA. Kill me now. Every single other game this weekend is a better game than that.

It looks like no player is going to ever miss a following game due to concussion if this is the standard.
Disgusting really.

Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

The indigenous version of the anthem is awesome
Re: 2018 NRL Round 10: Teams and Game Day
Remember Sia's hit on Slater? Everyone was up in arms about that tackle, and surprise surprise, Billy was still there lining up for the storm the following week
Re: 2018 NRL Round 10: Teams and Game Day
No he didn't play the following week.
Edit: yeah there is no way Haas should be allowed to play.

No he did not, which sparked debate about why the team the following week should benefit from his absence when Sia wasn't sent

Did I just see the ref call time off because a defender was laying in the ruck?

Cowboys have zero composure this year. No idea how that happens given the quality and experience in their squad

Re: 2018 NRL Round 10: Teams and Game Day
Cowboys 3 and 7... who'd have thought?
Re: 2018 NRL Round 10: Teams and Game Day
Most of their attack is based around JT and he is just too slow. I honestly thought he would come good but maybe he won't? Their forward pack isn't really getting on a roll and Lolo can only do so much. And Coote looks awful and Morgan disinterested.

Re: 2018 NRL Round 10: Teams and Game Day
Almost everyone in their side is out of sorts. Even when their forwards are standing up they've got nothing to go to out wide but a bomb to Feldt. They should have made changes a month ago. Granville's been bad, Morgan's been bad, Coote has been terrible, Scott has been terrible.
Hampton has been about he only player to improve on last years performances but when you've got a team of stars falling down around you there's not much difference 1 guy can make.
Re: 2018 NRL Round 10: Teams and Game Day
How is the **** of Bulldogs Eels FNF...
Re: 2018 NRL Round 10: Teams and Game Day
Knights v Panthers. Some decent attacking football. Knights playing better than the score suggests. Ponga is great to watch, reminds me of the footy Milford used to play.
I don't like the players just being able to milk 30 seconds off the clock. I just don't think it's a direction rugby league should continue going. They need to stop the clock when the ball isn't in play/motion and then restart the clock when play resumes.

Ponga reminds me of a bit of Benji in his early years, that ability to change direction with both feet off the ground and it seems to happen in slow motion. Watched a couple of Knights games cause city of birth and a good mate is a fan (normally only watch Raiders these days) and I’ve enjoyed the cut of Pongas jib
