Junior Paulo out for 8-10 weeks
Junior Paulo could be out for three, plus, months with Lisfranc (midfoot) injury, left stadium in moonboot. Getting scans today or tomorrow, from Triple M.

Re: Junior Paulo could be out for 3+ months with Lisfranc (midfoot) injury, left stadium in moonboot
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.
If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Damn. Seems like a high injury toll in the NRL this year.

If we grant a early mutual release does that free up cap space?

Charlie Gubb is the cult hero we need to fill this void.

GH Live called it as he left the ground. He walked out. No crutches

He's a big unit for a little bone in his foot to carry/put weight back on too.
Hopefully he can stay in shape in the meantime.
Gubb. Or Knight?

Or Royce Hunt. I don't think Knight played last week. Not sure why. Charlie Gubb the other choice.

Junior Paulo sidelined for 8-10 weeks with mid foot sprain
The Raiders have suffered an injury blow to prop Junior Paulo, with the forward set for a lengthy stint on the sideline.
Paulo has a mid-foot sprain, which will keep him out of action for 8-10 weeks. He will not require surgery, but will be unable to run until his foot improves.

Oooof. So really he'll never be match fit for us again after he balloons up to 300kg during his time off.
Gubb and Knight should really be ripping in this week with a spot up for grabs.

Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Canberra Raiders prop Junior Paulo faces long stint on the sideline
Junior Paulo will spend up to 10 weeks on the sidelines with a mid-foot sprain suffered against the Gold Coast Titans last weekend.
"It’s generally the responsibility of the eldest I guess, to take charge of a lot of things. That’s where my role is as one of the senior players, just to lead more by our actions," Soliola said. "We’ve practiced over a couple of months now what our mindset needs to be like when things generally don’t go our way. What you saw on the weekend is how we’ve been training. We’re doing some really good stuff, we just let ourselves down in patches.

Time for our lesser lights to shine.
Gubb, Lui, Hunt, Bateman, Knight.
You're all on the fringe. You all want a contract, or to prove why you can make it.
Here's your chance.
