God we're going to get massacred this weekend. I have zero hope. Not for this game. This season. This playing roster. This coach. This club.

****** debacle this whole situation.

Surely the calls for Stuart and certain individuals' heads can only grow louder after the inevitable bloodbath that will occur on Saturday night.

Pretty comfortable in calling it season over at this point. We might have a revival for a couple of weeks here and there but we won't be making the 8.

HAHA. Garvey would be filthy. Wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't given Sticky a spray about it yet.
I could be mistaken, but I thought when they interviewed him before the game he had only came back to Mounties last week from a couple/few weeks off with a groin strain?

VIDEO: Canberra Raiders forward Elliott Whitehead: We'll be doing everything we can to win"

English international Elliott Whitehead says he's wary of the Cowboys after what they produced last year.

"You can't write the Cowboys off, if you saw what they did last year with all of their injuries and they went all the way. We know its going to be a tough test but we will be doing everything we can to get the two points" Whitehead said.

"We just gave too many penalties away where they got set after set and we'll be looking to fix that up this week so we can show what we can do with the ball."

What the **** is this interview? Should be wary of EVERY NRL team, 'cos right now they're all likely to give us a right slapping around the park. And I should bloody hope they'll do everything they can to win.

Whoever is in charge of PR needs to stop this ****! It's insulting!

I expect Whitehead will be doing everything he can to win but I have zero confidence the rest of his teammates will have the same attitude.

The side Ricky has named is a giant slap in the face to Shannon Boyd, Dunamis Lui, Hingano and Garvey.

All 4 are having to sit on the bench or in reserve grade while bludgers are riding rough over a gutless and/or inept coach.

Robert Lui deserves more than a slap in the face. Even a giant one!

Robert Lui?

That's a kick in the guts to Dunamis.

Yeah I agree. Hingano deserves a crack at #6 and Garvey the bench spot. Boydy deserves a start but Lui can stay bench. I like Sia /LUi as a mobile split.

MASTERSTROKE!

Papalii in for Bateman!

NOW we get this season rolling.

Say what you want about Ricky, the guy has consistently shown that when his back is to the wall, he has the tactical nous to really turn things around.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Canberra Raiders could have scars from JT's heroics

Canberra Raiders winger Nick Cotric admits there could be some scars from their freakish loss to North Queensland in Townsville last year, but he hopes the Green Machine have moved on.

"I guess so, but hopefully this week we go down there and just don't worry about last year," he said on Tuesday. "We didn't get the win back then, but it was a big day for me, I made my debut last year. Hopefully we go up there and get the two points.

Mark who? Canberra Raiders hardman Whitehead dismisses Carroll's 'dog act' call

Mark who? Like water off a Northern Englishman's back, Canberra Raiders hardman Elliott Whitehead drew a line under Mark Carroll's "dog act" comments by simply shrugging them off.

"We all know our forwards we let ourselves down this week and we've got a chance to fix that up," he said."We know it's going to be a tough test, but we'll be putting everything into getting the two points so that's all that matters."

Ricky seems to be set on deliberately sabotaging the club like it is claimed he did with Para. Only blind and deaf Freddy could pick Blake (what's defence) Austin in any NRL side. There are at least 2 others who shouldn't be in the side and another 2 who are araldited in the wrong positions.
It's a simple game; tackle, back-up, pass, hold the ball! What did I say? "Hold the bloody ball!!"

If we end up re-signing Paulo and/or Austin I will start to believe Ricky is sabotaging the club.

At the moment I am leaning towards a massive ego and the Dunning Kruger effect as the best explanations for the **** state the club is in.
