Could hit up Hanauma bay for a bit of snorkelling? I’m not a big snorkeller so I don’t know how it compares, but I had a great time there.

If you’re going to drive to a volcano you’ll have to fly to the big island. No volcanos on Oahu. If you do go to the big island, I’d do it, I enjoyed Mauna Loa.

On your list already I really enjoyed Pearl Harbour and family loves the Cheesecake Factory Image

Yeah, dont miss Hanauma. Best snorkellong is the far end of the beach for the carpark, from about 80m from shore. Get there early or you wont get parking.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

What the hell!? I’m with Fui. Not even close to how I picture T_R. I’m not entirely sure how I picture him, but that ain’t it.

It’s like seeing someone you’ve listened to on the radio for years. Then find out they look nothing like they should

Hello everyone.

I have a mate who's interested in visiting Vietnam for a holiday. And all he wanted to know was could he buy a steak.

Along with all the local cuisine he's looking forward to eating he said if he couldn't get a steak he'd probably not go..extreme..but hey !

So if anyone's recently been to Vietnam maybe a run down on the food available would be great..

Thanks.

You'll get no argument from me doc. I only hang out with this idiot for the free snapps..

I've travelled to a few countries. You eat what the locals eat. In 1992 I spent 5 weeks in Hawaii. I ate 1459 cheeseburgers.

So..steak in Vietnam ? My stupooood mate needs to know.

I recently spent a month travelling Vietnam, Laos and Thailand. I was very sick with a fever for nearly all of my time in Vietnam and not eating, so I can’t help you too much there. From memory steak options were available but they were scarce and I doubt they would’ve been as good as here, my first week back in Oz I ate steak for dinner every night. When I was eating I tried as much local cuisine as possible, it was better than I expected!
