Indeed. But who was the last one you can think of? I can’t think of anyone more recent than Ivan Milat.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a damn good thing, but your Milat, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, Zodiac Killer Level Serial Killer seems to be extinct.
Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.

It’s actually got me intrigued, so I looked it up and found an article.. this implies I’m not the only one thinking it haha. There is definitely stats to show the number of Serial Killers at large are on the decline, as well as murders that fit the serial killer profile. There’s 3 theories why this is.
1. Evolution of DNA evidence makes it easier to identify the killer.
2. The Cyber footprint everyone leaves makes it easier to track and catch the killer before they get on a roll.
3. The media beat up isn’t there anymore. Those who do it for the attention are more likely to head down the mass shooting path.

So there you have it. Evolution exists everywhere

I've been called up for jury duty on Tuesday 20th. I've told them I'd like to be home before the team list is released.

Seriously though, anybody else done this recently. I received a letter early Jan saying I'd been added to a list for 12months and a couple of weeks ago I got the call up.

It's just a selecting process I'm guessing where they'll weed out the drongos and select the 12 required.

I'll wear my best tshirt...

Mmmmmm 12 Angry Men is referring to the movie about a Jury, not to Josh Papalli’s team mates after his shocking play the ball.

I don’t do sadness anymore...

Awful sweet to be a little butterfly
Just winging over things
And nothing deep inside
Nothing going, going wild in you
You know
You're slowing by the riverside
Or floating high and blue
Or maybe cool to be a little summer wind
Like once through everything
And then away again
With the taste of dust
In your mouth all day
But no need to know
Like sadness
You just sail away

'Cause you know
I don't do sadness
Not even a little bit
Just don't need it in my life
Don't want any part of it
I don't do sadness
Hey I've done my time
Looking back on it all
Man, it blows my mind
I don't do sadness
So been there
Don't do sadness
Just don't care

Is that.. a... segment? in a game thread?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

Why fly Sydney to Brisbane before flying to Auckland?
Syd- Akl was delayed meaning we'd miss our Lax flight so a mad dash to Bris to connect.
Now in San Diego heading to the zoo tomorrow hopefully after a raiders win overnight.
