Adam Kyle appointed head coach of the Goulburn Bulldogs
The Goulburn Bulldogs have appointed NRL Game Development Officer and Canberra Raiders juniors coach, Adam Kyle, as head coach for 2018.
Kyle made the following announcement on Facebook and Instagram:
"It's with great pride I can finally announce that I've signed on as the head coach for the Goulburn Workers Bulldogs for season 2018.
I'm really excited to be working with this great club and players and looking forward to the season ahead.
After five years coaching some exceptionally talented young men it's with a heavy heart I've decided to step away from coaching the Raiders juniors this year."
He was the coach of the Canberra Raiders SG Ball team in 2017 and has previously coached the Harold Matthews team. He replaces former Canberra Raiders player, Michael Picker, in the role.

Canberra Raiders boost support for Walker Park upgrades
The Canberra Raiders have thrown their support behind Yass Valley Council’s application for a share in the NSW Government’s Regional Sports Infrastructure Fund to upgrade Walker Park.
Five board members from the club visited the facility on Monday, February 5 for a discussion with Yass Valley Council about the upgrades. The club also provided a letter of support for the council’s application.
"We got to make sure that the facilities here are up to standards with other towns and cities because then it encourages kids to play sport and stay here and not move to Canberra or Sydney," Raiders CEO Don Furner said.

Canberra Raiders Cup: Former Raiders forward Jeff Lima giving back
When Jeff Lima called time on his successful career spanning 14 seasons and six clubs last season, he felt lost. It’s why Lima has signed with the Queanbeyan Kangaroos this season to keep busy and give back to grassroots rugby league.
“You lose your purpose when you retire and some days you wake up and think: ‘what am I going to do today?,” said Lima, who played 233 top grade games in the NRL and English Super League.

Canberra Raiders Cup: Queanbeyan Blues Terry Campese won’t be hanging up his boots
