So we're going for a 64 band comp. Otherwise there'll be riots in the forum if we cull the ones that have received votes.
I'm liking the current process of everyone posting their votes instead of using the voting button. I have a spreadsheet going tracking the results, so posting them makes it easier for me if you can

This is surely one of the best songs ever.
These are amazing songs, great music and lyrics... and performance.
Re: Voting Open! TheGH Music tournament finalists
Why didn't The Models make the list!?
Re: Voting Open! TheGH Music tournament finalists
I think there should be an Australian version of this at some stage.

I’ll make it the next one.greeneyed wrote:I think there should be an Australian version of this at some stage.
Thinking how to do the tournament. I can either
A. Send out band vs band threads every day. 64 bands would mean the tournament would take nearly 2 months.
B. I do it round by round via Survey Monkey. So round of 64 week 1. 32 week 2 etc. Would mean I can manage it in 1 thread instead of 60 odd threads.
I’m leaning towards B. Can get done quicker and can do Australian tournament afterwards

What else is there for the next two months! Up to you though!
Re: Voting Open! TheGH Music tournament finalists
Just listening to Born in the USA, Bruce Springsteen. Critics would say this is not his best album, but it is certainly his biggest. What a great album. Put him in the finals!
Re: Voting Open! TheGH Music tournament finalists
Just got to the end of Born in the USA. What an album. I know just about every word to the whole album. After all this time. Who knew? Seven singles off one album. What a performer.

I’ve really been into Cover Me lately. It was a song I hadn’t heard until recently, now it’s getting hammered daily on my Spotify.greeneyed wrote:Just got to the end of Born in the USA. Here’s an insight into how Chris Isaac creates a video clip for his latest single.greeneyed wrote:

Video Director: “So Chris what do you think would suit the song style and lyrics”?
Chris: “How about we get a half naked, gorgeous model and I roll around in bed or on the beach with her”.
Video Director: “Great idea, lets do it”.

Not a lot of diversity in music genres. Probably should've had Bob Marley, Eminem and Johnny Cash in there

But you shouldn't have Peter Andre... randomly selected over say, Madonna...
