She can lose the baby before it's born, dubby. That keeps the prophecy true in my opinion

Nah I think she's making up the pregnancy. She's walking down the path of becoming the Mad Queen. Faking pregnancy is her attempt at trying to keep Jaime on side.

Didn't it suggest she'd lose all three? (No mention of 4)

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Well it won't surprise me if it turns out she's faking it but it seems like an awkward plot twist. Is it just her idea? Qyburn's?

If true, then she knows she's only got a time limit on how long she can keep up the facade, and then what? 100% sure way of getting Jaime off side.

I just can't make sense of it.

Me looking at it from her perspective, Jaime just admitted to talking to Tyrian, who she's had it out for since he was born, and she knows how close they are. Add to this, Old lady Tyrell got on his head with the Joffrey claim, and Cersei thinks he's starting to stray. She just said whatever she could think of to get him back onside.

Whether the baby is real or not, I still think the ending will be the same. No baby, mad Jaime, dead Cersei

Yeah, well she is clearly scheming behind Jaime's back with Qyburn (not necessarily against Jaime), so it would go hand in hand with that.

If/when Jaime kills Cersei...I can hardly think of a more emotional death/murder. Easily two of the best characters of the series.

**** we are in for a ride.

Barbecueing the Tarleys was a tad unnecessary.

The Hound is Azor Ahai.

Hopefully Arya kills Cercei

Pasting this from Wiki:

Cersei: Will the king and I have children?
Maggy: Oh, aye. Six-and-ten for him, and three for you. Gold shall be their crowns and gold their shrouds, she said. And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you.

No mention of 4, but if she's pregnant and the foetus dies, then she's still only had 3.

One theory I was reading mentioned that "the valonqar" means "little brother". Whether that means Jamie (came out second so technically younger), Tyrion or the foetus (the little brother of her children) is yet to be seen.

Haha yeah that was my first thought too
Jamie isn't a king, so the prophecy isn't relevant here

She had 3 children with the king and they gone. All that's left to fulfil that is for Jamie to club her and strangle her with his golden hand!

I'm pretty sure the sixteen Robert had wasn't with her though!

Cersei won't have any more children, she's had her three.

The velonquar is Jaime.

Damn I forgot about that part of the prophecy. Doesn't look like Arya gets to scrub Cercei off her list. Jaime it is.

Except the answer given clearly covers what the king has without her.

Not to mention that the first three weren't his either.

That's a fair counter point re them not actually being the kings

But I'm afraid I have to declare your fair points invalid.
If BR could produce a spreadsheet explaining this differently things might change

Anyways I think she is pregnant and she'll lose it somehow in the next Ep or two, so the prophecy stands true in the end

It doesn't though! Why would the old drone specify the king has sixteen children yet Cersei's three are limited to being with Robert?

And none of hers are with the king anyway!

You blokes are off your heads. It's total children each, not restricted to with each other. Fair dinkum.
