Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Re: The Greenhouse Live
I have it on very good authority that someone rang Nickman mid broadcast and asked for a "shout out". Very unprofessional!
Re: The Greenhouse Live
lol Nickman wandering off was gold.

He also drunkenly asked me via phone call and then later by text if he did indeed give us the shout out

Re: The Greenhouse Live
^^^Pretty sure that's the problem Nickman.
Having watched it, it was probably the sketchiest show Sean has done, esp when you add in all the kids interrupting. Im pretty sure you were using Brew as a leaning post. Unlike a couple of others, I didn't think you slurred your words, however, there was still a hint of drunk rambling.

Haha yeah, agreed. I thought the show was fantastic, and Sean did a superb job of keeping it on track.greeneyed wrote:

Re: The Greenhouse Live
I don't think we'd want it like that every week... but in the context of the season, it was a huge win and a bit of fun. But we'll be back to some analysis next week, I'm sure!

Re: The Greenhouse Live
I've enjoyed all the ones i've seen this year but Saturday's one was the best of the season. It was like the curtain went down on the performance and I was all happy for once, but then as I cracked open a fresh beer and sat down at the computer the encore started and it matched the main event. It was great seeing how excited Pigman was about it, gleefully throwing in comments underneath.
We continue to **** about with blokes that are part of some fraternity. It's infuriating.

Your analysis of the game when you are not drunk as a skunk (I know that is only a small window) is actually very good. The Nickman wrote:Well I certainly am.Bay53 wrote:I am not funny enough to do it like that every week!!greeneyed wrote:I don't think we'd want it like that every week... but in the context of the season, it was a huge win and a bit of fun.
