He's shown more restraint than usual

Was Jesus there? What about his friend, Santa?
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

I have it on very good authority that someone rang Nickman mid broadcast and asked for a "shout out". Very unprofessional!

It's live post match interview with Nickman and somehow you expected professionalism?

And can I just say, not only did he shout out the lads
He also drunkenly asked me via phone call and then later by text if he did indeed give us the shout out

The guy was more beer than man hahah

^^^Pretty sure that's the problem Nickman.
Having watched it, it was probably the sketchiest show Sean has done, esp when you add in all the kids interrupting. Im pretty sure you were using Brew as a leaning post. Unlike a couple of others, I didn't think you slurred your words, however, there was still a hint of drunk rambling.

Haha yeah, agreed. I thought the show was fantastic, and Sean did a superb job of keeping it on track.

I don't think we'd want it like that every week... but in the context of the season, it was a huge win and a bit of fun. But we'll be back to some analysis next week, I'm sure!

Never work with children or animals. Sean got lumbered with both in this episode.

I've enjoyed all the ones i've seen this year but Saturday's one was the best of the season. It was like the curtain went down on the performance and I was all happy for once, but then as I cracked open a fresh beer and sat down at the computer the encore started and it matched the main event. It was great seeing how excited Pigman was about it, gleefully throwing in comments underneath.
We continue to **** about with blokes that are part of some fraternity. It's infuriating.

That was a crack up, love the smart comments that would have sailed over the feral kids heads too.

Would have loved to be there :-/

Your analysis of the game when you are not drunk as a skunk (I know that is only a small window) is actually very good.

Yep, unlike other podcasts who are on the phone or from some club somewhere, we are live at the ground every week.

Let's hope GE organises international data otherwise he might have to sell the helicopter after bill shock!!

We're planning a special episode of The Greenhouse Live next Tuesday night... around 7:30pm... to wrap the 2017 season.
