Gus tweeted that the cowboys reported 3 neck injuries out of their Storm game. Hopefully the media gets on the bandwagon to crack down on the wrestle.

Confident we can get the job done, if we play for the full 80.

Does anyone need tickets? They could use our code as we can't get to Melbourne - or is it open to all Raiders fans today? Hope we get a massive turnout in Green down there to cheer the boys on!

A finals game where we aren't worrying about injury or suspension in the lead up!

Excellent.

Nice. Debatably our first choice team fit and healthy going into the final two weeks, with our first choice reserve half, outside back, fullback and forwards match fit and ready.

Can't ask for better than that.

Son, we live in a world that has forums, and those forums have to be guarded by Mods. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Nickman? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Lucy, and you curse GE. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that GE’s moderation, while tragic, probably saved lives; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, keeps threads on track and under the appropriately sized, highlighted green headings.
You want moderation because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that forum -- you need me on that forum. We use words like "stay on topic," "use the appropriate forum," "please delete." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very moderation that I provide and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather that you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you get a green handle and edit a post. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think about moderation.

We can win this but we need to be at our absolute best.

Heard Steve Jackson on grandstand. He had been to the game and Ricky invited him into the sheds before the game. He said it was amazing how much respect the playing group had for Ricky and that the team was incredibly lucky relaxed before the game.

We prepared for the storm a few weeks ago and beat them at their own game. We can do it again.

They are the best team at playing structure and defending structure but our attack isn't based on that which gives us an edge.

Should be an absolute belter of a game. Let's get down there and pillage a grand final berth!

As much as I want to win this so we can go on to win the comp, I want to win it more to make sure we stop Cronulla from winning in the GF!

Wonder how injury cover works with Mounties playing a GF in Sydney the next day? We obviously need some cover but can't pull too many blokes out of that game. Few guys on standby in Melbourne Saturday night and fly them back to Sydney first thing Sunday?

Is there something wrong with me wanting to see Gallen, Fifita, and Ennis crying while our boys celebrate?

I would take Lima, Fenton, Williams, Brenko and possibly The horse.

Most of them would be used to the travel etc so it should not knock them around too much.

I think this will be a game the boys will learn a lot from no matter if we win or lose.

The Storm will play the game with old heads, expect a lot of mind games during the game and knowing when to speed up and slow down the game.

Even the way Smith talks to the refs will be about getting the storm an advantage

This will be the sly old foxes against the young youthful enthusiastic pups.

Even if we lose I am just so proud of them. Losing away to Melbourne in a prelim is nothing to be ashamed of. Just want to see them fight.

We gave it to this team last start, their attack couldn't break our defence
We turn up with that same level of commitment defensively and we're going to the big one

Their structured attack suits our defense well, we just need to get three or four tries through their line.

Yeah it's the same old story for us, if we can score 20 points I think we win the game
We've got to figure out a way to score 3-4 tries and we need that gritty, determined defence to stand up again

If that happens, sydney awaits

Long time lurker on the GH, finally signed up. I've had green blood in my veins ever since attending matches at Seiffert with my Dad in the mid 1980s. Now live up Gympie way and passionately follow the boys from afar.

Flights and tickets booked for the Storm game, sooo pumped. Go you mighty Raiders! Can't wait!

I don't want to jinx us. I know the Storm will be super tough. But I have a feeling we can pull this off.

Slightly off topic, but what's the go with the giant heads? Are they already in the stadium and part of the NRL "finals experience" or are people bringing them in...I've seen them in all the crowds so far.

They are pretty cool, but must be annoying for the people behind them :)
