Probably the weakest episode of this season.

A Lot to like but i didn't like the Arya stuff, and she is normally my favourite part of the show.

Yeah, not good.

Cersei's not gonna order it, so someone needs to warg into the Mountain and rip Tommen's head off, the annoying little ****. Then kill the High Sparrow in some horrible way.

Danaerys' return to mereen was almost laughable. It was like a Batman entrance or something.

NEXT!

A girl was becoming increasingly boring.
I didn't mind this episode.
Ok Arya's ' fight ' was lame, Dany just appeared and gave her usual glare for which her posse gave their predictable look of awe.
I had a quiet chuckle at the sparrows vs the mountain. That was never going to end well for them. Then it turned out worse for Cersei now that her mountain is just a Wight version of Hodor in a suit: big strong and of absolutely no use.
Tommin speaks like a girl, but shut his dumb mother down, for which I applaud him

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

A girl's storyline has always been dead boring. I don't get why people like it.

The best part of that Ep was the return to his full on brutal best of the Hound. I **** love him when he is in full eat chicken mode.

A girl's storyline was interesting in the first season, but it became as interesting as Sansa who was boring as hell at one point

3 points - the hound. Strong returns to form. Hoping for more involvement going forward
2 points - the mountain, hasnt looked quite the same since returning from injury but he absolutely carved up the saints spine.
1 point - arya. Lets "face it", has been bog ordinary this season. Will benefit from an off season move.

Giving a point to Arya is outrageous! You obviously have an agenda to not give Tyrion points after he jumped to the head of the Dally Westeros leaderboard early on!

Game of Thrones Season 6

Post by EJ »

I don't even remember much bad stuff happening in episode 1 except for Jaime pushing Bran out the window I suppose. That's almost non-violent.

What did you honestly think, GE? You got flash of ZOMBIES in the first scene, but no baby dragons yet.

Yeah I watched season 1 again during the off season. So much happens in that first episode.

Just realised the Walkers dismember a bunch of people, impale a child, and Ned beheads someone. In about the first 15 mins. So that is a bit violent.

Game of Thrones Season 6

Post by Botman »

Well what ever lack of satisfaction was felt last week, this week felt very good
the battle turned out exactly how i expected it too except they really did make me think otherwise for a long time

Highly satisfying ending.

Hahah he was an excellent character
The dude who played him will get some work out of this as a ruthless bad guy

Still it was a great Ep, even though it pretty predictable it was done in a way that made you forget you kind of knew what was going to happen

I liked that Sansa won the battle and the war against Ramsey
And I like that Jon showed himself to be a pretty hotheaded and ultimately foolish commander

The seeds are being laid here for us to start to grasp that Sansa, hardened by her experiences is now a much better candidate to lead the north.
I expect she'll start to assert her control more in the battles to come and so will Littlefinger

Jon will wind up marginalised until L+R=J is ready to reveal itself and that story arc takes it course in the battle against the white walkers

It's going to be a blood bath. Cersei has completely isolated the Lannisters, the rest of the seven kingdoms hate her guts. Danyres is going to hand her **** to her. It will be interesting to see what the starks do.

I think the Starks are going to consolidate forces in the North and prepare for the war on winter. Dany will lay waste to the South with help from the Tyrell's and Dorne, and destory Cesrsi and everything she stands for.

They'll then join forces and face the white walkers
Also L+R=J confirmed in this ep, it'll be interesting to see how that changes the landscape once he finds out

Lady Mormont is a **** baaaaws
