Early on he looked very good, when he left team fenech he really seemed to plateau, in saying that if he just boxed with kessler he had that fight shot to bits but head clashes spoilt his chance

TMT is talking about fighting Conor McGreggor. That would be a massive, massive $$$$$ making fight.

I personally think Mayweather would win. Who does everyone else think would win if this goes ahead.

It will be on Mayweather's terms, which means it'll be straight up boxing. Mayweather will smoke him.

I think the Hornet is more hype than anything but another good win on Saturday night.

Anyone following Joseph Parker?

I think he's got genuine talent and enjoyed his win on Saturday night.

The heavyweight division looks worth following.

Joshua is the guy to beat but I like how Parker is progressing.

Horn has a lot going for him, power, versatility, chin, speed. The way he works up and down left and right is great, have a look at how he broke the guy down last Saturday with rights to the body under the left elbow before taking apart his head.

He needs to be able to do it against higher quality opponents.

I think he'll lose first time he goes to the US and is matched tough.

As a long-time boxing fan who has lost interest in recent years (because there's been no-one worth following) I'm interested to see how the heavyweight division pans out next year.

Particularly Parker.

Joseph Parker has been padding his record worse than Mundine use to and I lost a lot respect for him when he fought Kali Meehan (How that got sanctioned I'll never know). He has great hand speed and footwork but in his first real test against quality opposition he only just scrapped home

He's had two tough tests. On Saturday against Ruiz and earlier this year against Takam.

You need fights like those to progress to the next level.

Parkers still a work in progress, you don't go out and fight the best until you're at your best, he's only 24 and is probably two years and 4/5 fights away from peaking, Ruiz and Takam were the exact sort of fights he needs right now, could easily be amongst the top 2/3 heavyweights in a couple of years time
Horn looked really good, first time I've seen him fight, looks a tough fighter

Well let's hope for his sake boxing in general recovers from it's self inflicted wounds by then and boxer's start to value challenging themselves as much as they currently value a "perfect" record... I miss Evander

Interesting weekend of boxing.

Povetkin tested positive for PEDs and then pole-axed a durable frog. Kind of disappointed he's been busted because he would have been a major threat to any of the top heavies. Was looking forward to him v Wilder.

Tim Tszyu (son of King Kostya) made his pro debut. Pts decision over six rounds.

I saw Junior Tszyu spar a Qld state champion many years ago. At the time he didn't have a single amateur fight to his name but still dominated. Terrific talent but lacks his old man's extensive amateur background.

I'm adding Junior Tszyu to my list of "must watch" fighters (along with Joseph Parker).

Bernard Hopkins has let himself down badly, great decision to go out on top at age 40 in a promise to his mother.
Greed has tarnished his legacy.
I had meant to watch young tzsyu, will try to find a replay
