NRLCEO 2016 : The GH Premiership

Re: NRLCEO 2016 : The GH Premiership
Could always set the snake draft time limit to say 5min and if there is any issues Millsy can increase it. Would be good to start before R1. I'm fine with tonight but wouldn't want to start it much later than 8.30pm NSW time if we plan on finishing it tonight.

NRLCEO 2016 : The GH Premiership
That could go well into the night though couldn't it? if the average time per pick were just under 2 mins per person, it'd be 4 complete rounds an hour/over 8 hours to finish itaussie1st wrote:Could always set the snake draft time limit to say 5min and if there is any issues Millsy can increase it. I'm happy to go around again tonight if it evens the field more, I'm just concerned about the time as well if we do the Snake system. I don't want to spend too much time doing it.
Feel free to call me RickyRicky StickStick if you like. I will also accept Super Fui, King Brad, Kid Dynamite, Chocolate-Thunda... or Brad.

Spoke to Millsy
You will run with a 8 team comp.
Doing another draft this close to kick off wont work.

Re: NRLCEO 2016 : The GH Premiership
Ok then, sorry to hear that. I think next year we should steer clear of quick draft. It's a good system when it works, but too many things seem to go wrong.
Will you just just hold on to the players you have? I'm thinking that releasing them would just make things a whole lot messier

Re: NRLCEO 2016 : The GH Premiership
Guys what I will do is do a random trade. Ill pick a player and a team and then pick a depth player from your team.
I think I have 7 quality players and are worth something.
You will have to trust me that it will be random. I have nothing to gain anyway.
The players I have need to be included.
Once you have my player you can trade him amongst yourselves

Sorry to hear RRA.
Next year snake draft it is. Quick draft is great when it works but every year there seems to be massive problems with it.

Rubbish, I'm only in the Championship because I don't like the quick draft system. I dropped back voluntarily a few seasons ago.
And looking at the absolute ****show you guys have now found yourselves in, my decision was entirely justified.
