Remember our awkward "tinder" date in Rocky?? Ah, those were the days...

The days when I didn't think you were such a jerk!

Only thing I will tell lurkers is that if you tweet something to the GH account after 9pm on a Friday you are fare more likely to get it retweeted even if it has subtle abuse because whoever runs the account is usually liquored up by then.

Mongolia, that's pretty cool. I've just finished watching Marco Polo so feel I now know everything there is about Mongolia. Do women get there kit off as much as they did in that show?

I've only recently started posting on here and I've noticed you get player ranks with how often you post. My question is, how many posts do I have to make before I'm at Matt Orford level?

You need to pretend to support the raiders, but actually be a Broncos supporter and make dozens of new accounts one after another every time you get banned.

Mate I live out west too. We are a pure and angelic breed.
The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

Are you a GH Lurker?

Did you know that there's something called National Delurking Day? And National Delurking Week? Seriously!

Well, it's in January, so we sort of missed it. But we don't care, because here on The Greenhouse...

NOW!

For those who've come in late...

A lurker is typically a member of an online community who observes, but does not actively participate. Lurkers make up a large proportion of all users in online communities. Lurking allows users to learn the conventions of an online community before they actively participate, improving their socialisation when they eventually de-lurk.

Lurkers are referred to using many names, including browsers, read-only participants, non-public participants, legitimate peripheral participants, or vicarious learners.

Thanks for the explanation, Wikipedia!

So if you're a GH Lurker, here's what we'd like you to do:

Here's more reasons why:
