We have been having some complaints about over-sized avatars. The official limit is 200x200 pixels, but the users of the Morpheus skin can only see avatars that fit into 125-150 pixels. So if you are making new ones, please consider making them to fit 125-150 pixels.
You can tell how big the avatar is by right clicking the image and clicking "Properties". It will give you the dimensions in pixels under "Dimensions".
You can very easily re-size images using free programs...
One I have used is the following (though it is not necessarily recommended by the GH...):

Under that program, you can load images from your computer... under step 2, select a custom size (eg 125 pixels), ignore step 3, and under step 4, select "Best". Will produce excellent results which you can save to your photobucket.com (or like) account.
