This is the ref that Floyd chose as he had the choice as one of the fight stipulations.

More clubs and pubs in Australia put the Mundine/Green fight on 10 years ago than this fight apparently and more money was spent on betting 10 years ago too

Feel a bit sick contributing to the 200 million Mayweather will get from that. One of the most boring fights in the history of boxing.

Feel sorry for Manny being the aggressor literally 99% of the time.

Smart man, Mayweather, but very uninspiring to watch. Fair dinkum.

Yep, that fight was a dud.
Doesnt matter if Manny was the aggressor, you need to land punches and Manny couldnt get a glove on him

I hate his **** guts, but there is no doubt Mayweather won that fights

There is a lot of people complaining about the result of the fight. I can only conclude they were watching a different fight, or they just hate Mayweather so much they cant be objective.... which is completely understandable, he's a detestable human being

We've moved on to the pub and I've not heard one person who doesn't agree with the decison. Given many of them have hung around for the footy, Id say there's at least 500 people who share the same - and right - view, that Mayweather won.

Those complaining - are you referring to online or something? Or are you at a Philipino club?

Online. My facebook/twitter feed is full of people saying Manny was the aggressor and Floyd did nothing but run and hug all night.
I must be getting a skewed sample size

Oh, thought so.

They have half the puzzle correct - Pacman was the aggressor. The rest of the puzzle, however, is as messy as GI's effort just now. My god

I'v very much enjoyed my twitter feed in response to this fight.

Mainly because 90% of the people I follow didn't seem to watch it and the rest are just calling out Mayweather for what he is.

Filo here. I knew Mayweather would win if Pacquiao didn't knock him out. I'm not a boxing expert so can't comment on the points, but as a fan of big events, I'd say Pacquiao won a major moral victory with the arena chanting his name, cheering loudly whenever he threw his combos, while Mayweather got booed when he made his entrance and the crowd gave it to him at the end of the match when he climbed up the corner of the ring.
Mayweather may have kept his title and stay undefeated, but I think Pacquiao can unanimously walk away as the people's champion.

Mayweather won. Simple as that. **** fight but used his reach and jab effectively. Everyone that i spoke to agreed with the decision. Social media crap about Pacman getting robbed just have an agenda.

well that went over the head.

From what I saw of the fight Manny won

But I did see only about 10 seconds of it and Manny had Mayweather up against the ropes and was doing all the punching

I had a good look around last night and I struggled to find an ex boxer who enjoyed the fight.

Problem with the 10 seconds which you're referring to is of the 30 punches thrown, only two body shots would have got the judges attention. Manny got the points for that round 10-9.

Said example will be used flatstick because it was the most exciting part of the fight. And, as I said, in this flurry Manny landed two body shots.

You can imagine how exciting 'the biggest fight in our generation' actually was.

I did not give a single crap about this match until my Filipino friend started going on a rant about it for about thirty minutes.
