Mayweather V Pacquiao - Biggest fight in boxing history
May 2nd so May 3rd for us down under.
Can't wait for this fight, guessing most of the pubs and clubs will be packed to watch this the biggest fight in history money wise and view wise, Floyd perhaps the best ever at 47-0 with his defensive skills v Pacquiao one of the finest attacking boxers to ever step in the ring.
This will be one hell of a fight and will be good to see what tactics both boxers use and who comes out on top.
What is everyone's tip?

I'm thinking Mayweather will win but I'm hoping the Pacman knocks his ass out.
Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao - Biggest fight in boxing histor
Worried it'll go to a points decision to Mayweather, though Pacman dominating most of the fight

Man, I thought Ultimate Robot Fighting was real, like pro wrestling, but it turns out it's fixed, like boxing.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Neither did the OP, which is probably why yet another new thread was created instead of slotting it in to the existing boxing thread.

The pregame show is more important than the sport. Should suit channel 9 in the futureThe Nickman wrote:Boxing?? Didn't even realise that still existed!

I'm interested, because I enjoy watching 2 absolutely elite teams or athletes going against each other.

This is one of only a few fights that keeps me interested in Boxing. It needed to happen. Mundine vs Green was the last fight that i really cared about.

My mates girlfriend bought him back a Pacquiao Basketball singlet from the Phillipines. He laughed about the novelty basketball singlet until she told him it's actually legit as Pacquiao is a player/coach in the Phillipines Basketball Association. what a bloke

Deary me, Mayweather is indeed a ****, he has a string of domestic violence offences against him. That makes him fair game.reptar wrote:How does he compare to Woolford?Pigman wrote:I dont give a single **** about boxing, but im fully invested in this fight

He is pretty funny though, he doesn't do daytime (trains at 2 AM) and waks around with suitcases full of cash. His Instagram account is fantastic reading.

He is the highest paid sports persons for the last 3 years and doesn't have any sponsors or get any endorsements.
I am of the same belief that he will win but if any fighter has a chance of beating him it is PacMan. He has the power to knock him out but does he have the speed to land the right shot is the big question.

Can't wait for the fight - great weekend for it to be on given there's no NRL round.
Mayweather should win, but would love to see the Pacman get up.

I hope Mayweather wins, just because everyone hates him.
Then I hope he uses his winnings to buy the Phillipines.

Friday I'm off work to watch the NFL draft round 1, round 2-3 of the NFL Draft on Saturday, then rounds 4-7 on Sunday that finishes at 10am, straight into Manny v Mayweather
And the AFL and NRL rep games around it. I'm not planning on leaving my lounge from 10am Friday until the I have to go to work on Monday

I was more interested in the Aussie boxing scene. International boxing has never really interested me.
But now I dont follow boxing much at all and have lost track of who is in the game these days . I do know Billy Dib is fighting Friday night and I'll watch that after the footy.
Id rather watch UFC these days
