In today's Big League Laurie Daley nominates Luke Douglas (Cronulla), Darius Boyd (Broncos), Jarryd Hayne (Parramatta) and Travis Burns (Manly) as his candidates for Rookie of the Year 2006. He then goes on to say:
"While I think the above four are probably the picks of the litter, expect the likes of Paul Aiton, William Zillman, Danny Wicks and Setaimata Sa to impress in coming years. Zillman has yet to settle into a position but once he does, I think you'll see plenty of exceptional football coming from the national capital."
