Re: NRLCEO 2014 : Legends of League
I won't be able to make the draft as I am in hospital with my daughter, I have just sent an email letting nrlceo know, so I'm sure if anyone knows anyone who wants to be part of these comp just let them know to contact nrlceo@y7mail.com
My favorite forum member is 100%Green. Why? Because anyone who can convince my wife who runs two watch shops and doesnt realy like the Raiders to buy me a limited edition centenary of league Raiders watch is alright in my books.
It's hard god-damn work being a Raiders supporter!

She'll be all good, she's got sleep apnea so we're in to get her used to the machine. So far so good.

I must say that was more fun than what I thought it would be, much better than the busted 24 hr draft.
Re: NRLCEO 2014 : Legends of League
Legends of League Tier 3
The Tier 2 Legends of League drafts are now complete! We now move onto the Rookie Leagues. The top four in each of these competitions will be able to be promoted to the Tier 2 Competitions in 2015.
The six competitions are setup to fill and entry is $10 per club which will fund the prizes for each individual competition.
Anthony Milford: Drafting 8pm (EST) Thursday 20th Feb
David Nofoaluma: Drafting 8pm (EST) Friday 21st Feb
Luke Brooks: Drafting 7pm (EST) Sunday 23rd Feb
Matt Moylan: Drafting 8pm (EST) Tuesday 25th Feb
Ngani Laumape: Drafting 8pm (EST) Wednesdsy 26th Feb
George Burgess: Drafting 8pm (EST) Thursday 27th Feb
The first people to reply to the email with their preferences will fill each competition.
The draft method is aimed at getting completed in the minimal time possible, but allowing everyone to have even competitions.
Each CEO will be able to draft four players in the first 15 minutes, then have a break to reassess. You will then draft another six 15 minutes after the first round. It will be quick clicking! Then another 15 minutes later you will be able to draft another six players. Then a total of 45 minutes the first round you can draft the remaining six players. So all up it should be over and done with in an hour.

Yeah , its rapid fire , must say Im happy with my team , just about got everybody I wanted .Millsy wrote:I must say that was more fun than what I thought it would be, much better than the busted 24 hr draft.
I suppose it was made a little easier with a 8 team comp and only allowed 10 kicker dollars and only 22 man squads.
You really needed to think about players who were able to play multiple positions

Re: NRLCEO 2014 : Legends of League
Ive had 2 different trade offers
Alex Glen for my Mitch Brown and Nofoaluma for Rochow
1st one is that my winger depth isnt huge so Im not going to give up a winger , also my backrow depth is really good.
2nd one just seems so lopsided , Rochow was one of the best forwards last year , plays both backrow and frontrow , I have him in both comps , Im not going to trade him unless he got a season ending injury.
You also dont do trades , a day before weekend trials.
Anyway Im really happy with my Legends team and there is only 1 or 2 players I would trade out for the right trade

It was great getting the one up over him, he did his usual talk up before the match and after losing said he'll win when it matters.

Looks like my big win over Happy Trails helped the GCRs move to 3rd
Now its time to deal with Bona and The Wendells like the GCRs did a few weeks ago.
