I'm fairly certain my work hates this forum. My boss comes in to my office to talk to me and he has to wait until I finish typing a post and hit "Submit" before I address him.

Mine used to, but I post at work mostly now...

She does give me **** for meeting up for drinks etc with random blokes I met on the Internet.

Michael and I once shared a hotel room in Canberra- she found this particularly funny given we hadn't met in person yet.

I'd like to thank the academy. And God.
Gina Riley: Oh, come on, John. That’s a bit old hat, the corrupt IOC delegate.
John Clarke: Old hat? Gina, in the scientific world when they see that something is happening again and again and again, repeatedly, they don’t call it old hat. They call it a pattern.

Nick: Pigman! Look Katie, it's pigman and the dogg! How'd you guys get here?
Michael from the pool: PIGMAN?
Pigman: Ohh Michael, as i live and breathe!

Bay56 played a big part in this forum starting up as well. :hi

Can't believe it is into its 10th season.

Need to turn the forum's creation into a TV miniseries that touches on everything from Lauren Jackson, the original proboards site, the vote to name the forum and the disappearance of Quinny.

This is the thread where names for the forum were dreamed up: http://www.thegh.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=52

Then there was this one: http://www.thegh.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=52

This was the poll which decided the forum name: http://www.thegh.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=94

The GH won with a total of nine votes!

That's all ok for me, I've been married three times so another wouldn't hurt!

After my heated discussion with Nick and Worm a few weeks ago my wife just thinks I've found another avenue to get into arguments with random people.

Congratulations and thanks to the Greenhouse pioneers, it's a great supporters site and even though I don't contribute many if any constructive posts, I do still have a read each day.

69 suggested "In the Nick of Lime" as the forum name. Can we please have a re-vote to change it to that?

Well it does have a certain amount of pizazz to it. I could probably handle that. As long as I don't have to do any work whatsoever in the maintenance of the site and I get all of the profits that are funneled in.

The spiral of silence refers to the idea that when people fail to speak, the price of speaking rises. As the price to speak rises, still fewer speak out, which further causes the price to rise, so that fewer people yet will speak out, until a whole culture or nation is silenced. This is what happened in Germany.

If you do not speak, you are not being neutral, but are contributing to the success of the thing you refuse to name and condemn.

With all due respect to the official Raiders site, the Greenhouse leaves it for dead. More Raiders information, more timely and a chance to talk to and meet up with other Raider tragics.

When he's not looking I'd chuck a few more "JMc passes to JC" into his notes to completely throw it out of whack!

Now that's just evil.

By the way is Bay56 ever going to come back? I miss him. He might have a bigger line of credit now too.

As do all the organisers, thank you all.
