2016 Banner Competition

It's been suggested it is time for a new site banner... It had been two years with a great banner!

But we are going to open it up to a new banner comp!

We are NOT looking to change the site logo. All entries MUST use the existing site logo. Hi resolution version:



Banners must be 740x120 pixels in dimension.

Banners must include the words "#1 Canberra Raiders supporters site" or "No 1 Canberra Raiders supporters site" and "thegh.com.au".

Here is my first shot at design. I'm sure someone can do better (although it is pretty damn good)! People can feel free to use this background image, as we are using that on Facebook and Twitter.





Images used should not be subject to copyright.

Winner gets their design on the site banner, plus a $200 merchandise voucher.

I like it CRR but one issue is including current players... It dates the banner quickly at times. In fact far too quickly sometimes!

Also, I think we would prefer not to have a Raiders logo... The site is independent...

yeah i have the psd file so the players can be changed whenever someone decided to leave or not.

something to think about GE and co, I understand having players in it can date it but I like how it shows we are connected with the players/support them etc

so if we don't have the players in it, clever people need to show the connection some how

We can always have players who are at least signed for a few years.

We tend to change the banner after that time anyway.
