Putting images with your posts

Whenever i want to put an image with my post it always comes up with a box that says image and has a cross in the top corner.
How do i get an image to show?

Right click on the image you wish to copy.

Click on "Properties".

This will throw up a "Properties" box.

Copy the Address (URL)... It would look like this:

http://www.news.com.au/common/imagedata ... 855,00.jpg

ie generally it will be a .jpg file.

Paste in the URL on a GH post and highlight it and click on Img (above).

That's it.

I want to add an image to my post , the image is on my hard drive not off a website.

Im pretty hopeless whem it comes to this stuff.

Go to http://www.imageshack.us/

From there you can host the image on line (by uploading it onto the site) and use the URL they give you to put it into your post.
