Knobs coach Jon Stanhope has announced a strong side for round one on the DT Fantasy League.

Skipper Steve Price leads a strong forward pack, which includes the likes of crafty hooker Robbie Farah, metre-eaters Roy Asotasi, Todd Payten and Anthony Laffranchi, tackle machine Alan Tongue and all-round funny guy Liam Fulton.

Cooper Cronk and Braith Anasta have the honour of being selected in the halves, while plenty of tries are expected from speedsters Billy Slater, Jarryd Hayne, Mark Gasnier and Michael Robertson, while Hazem El Masri will finish off the four-pointers by adding the conversions.

The team also welcomes back Anthony Minichello and Luke O'Donnell from serious injury.

Those to miss out on selection for round one include Simon Mannering, Matt Balin, Ben Harris, James McManus and Reni Maitua, who has been dumped to reserve grade for an alcohol related incident.

Knobs CEO Steven Fattore has released this image of the Knobs' 2008 jersey (thanks to Rick).

The club has gone 'back to the future' with it's retro design, similar to the Knobs' glory days of 2005-6.

Video Ezy Ngunnawal, Fattore's other place of employment, has jumped onboard with major sponsorship for 2008, rumoured to be around the $**** mark, as the bosses are stingy.

Stanhope said he was wrapped with the first roud form of Slater, Laffranchi, Fulton, Farah and El Masri, and hopes the team now has the respect it deserves from the rest of the league. ;)
