Raiders

greeneyed - Matthew Elliott: Saint or Sinner?
Reflecting on Matthew *'s coaching. Good solid article, of interest to many fans.

Score: 88

thickos - The Talisman
How an individual can inspire a team. A really well written article *'s a pleasure to read. Top notch.
741 words
Score: 91

Raider69 – Round 1: A View from the Bye
An interesting armchair analysis of the first round. Nicely written.
747 words
Score: 85

Kris_man – Experts – How much do they really know
Examining the experts. Intelligent, professional article, beautifully written. Several good points made. A cut above the rest.
745 words
Score: 92

Souls04 - Mate Against Mate
A bit of a let down, relying too heavily on chat conversations, real or invented. I’ve nothing against chats; you’ll occasionally see chat excerpts in professional work too but, unless skilfully handled, they’re better used to illustrate a point or provide some humour, not to form the basis of the article.

Bulls

Bomber - The Anagram Prophesies
I like it! A humorous article on how anagrams can give you the edge in the tipping stakes.
750 words
Score: 84

Insaneink - Coaches, players and fans.
The Wests Tigers game and post-mortem.
751 words (1 point penalty)
Score: 81

Davester - You're in for a long season if you think like that
A swipe against negative thinking on behalf of Wests Tigers fans. Obviously written from the heart, this article has too many spelling, grammar and punctuation errors to be excellent, but the basics and NRL knowledge are solid. My favourite quote; “The NRL is a marathon, not a sprint race”.

Broncodroid - Uh oh, my fiancé is single until September…again.
Very funny, lighthearted article. Some spelling/grammar mistakes let it down but otherwise a good read. My sympathies to the widow.

Score: 86

Broncoman - Who Cares Who Plays Where
Makes a good case; a *'s home is not the actual turf, but a ground where the fans turn up and make everyone feel like they’re on home ground. Nicely argued, with examples from the past and relevance to the current game. Good work. (PS. It is is *'s not its).

Poster of the Match: Kris_man for the Raiders
My Summary:

Thickos: Top effort as always, you and K_man are real top line chances for player of the year if you play enough games, fanstastic article

Kris man: The old vice captain never lets us down with top class articles, a well deserved MotM for a well written peice.

Greeneyed: Another one who i recon is going to go close to player of the year, well done, 88 is an execellent score and look forward to reading more of your work

SOULS: I did have concerns over your article as it seemed like the type that you ever love or hate, unfortunatly the ref wasnt too kind toward it but we all know what your capable of so chin up :D

Raider_69: Thats a personal best for me and i couldnt be more happy with my score, thought id be lucky for an clean 80!

All in all a top effort and a great win to kick us on, We're now reigning PvP Champions! So for everyone in the team that had a hand in that well done! WE'RE BAD AND MEAN...

Great effort guys! :D

Some teams were scoring high 440's so we need to keep improving however.... 1 game at a time :)
