Sportal - Round One Results

Post by Canberra Milk »

I don't know exactly how the fixtures etc. work for Round One, but if there were/are head to head matches, i'm confident, as the Crows had a good week, thanks in part to som Brian Smith-esque last minute changes to the line-up.

I've estimated my score at 72. Good solid first round, any ideas what your sides scored??

mine's 76, on closer glance :D

69, i'm not sure if Sportal lets you change your squad in non-trade periods. i could be wrong though.

i was wrong. here's how it works:

You have a total of 30 Trades available to your team over the 2005 Season, with a limit of up to TWO trades after each Round.

Yea i knew that
the two trades per week limit might cause me some headaches as i was planing on doing away with 3-4 players but now ill have to sus out my target and plan the best way to get him

so i ended up 20 points ahead of my prediction

my team was happy to escape round 1 with a win, not pretty or impressive but im confident of the team ive got this week of doing in my opposition The Reggies :)

Team Assclown will be going with the Cameramen approach, except winning.

Last year Ed came from nowhere to win in what is now to be believed the best moment of his life, on the other side of the coin I ended up suicidal for 17 weeks.

Team Assclown will be the quiet achievers for sure.

Good to see Timbo's 88 week losing streak is alive and well. Tonio did the best he could but his team lacked creativity from a bland coach :)

The Four and Twenty Crows management are considering suing the skeepe's Grasshoppers for not using the official team name when publishing the official score results.
"They haven't mentioned our sponsors, Four and Twenty, it's just not good enough", CEO Kris_man told the Alan Jones breakfast show. "Our lawyers will definitely be getting on to this one."

Stop going ballboy on me Azzman. I suspect I'm going down in round 2, Kris is putting a lot of thought into the Crows.
