GH Premiership to be shown FTA on Channel 71
In momentous news for the GH Premiership, Channel 71 have agreed to show 3 matches per round on free to air TV. Previous rights holder, C7 Sports, will continue to show the remainder of each round's matches.
"This is a momentous occasion for Channel 71, and will fit right in with our other sporting exclusive, such as Foxy Boxing and Amber Lady," said Channel 71 CEO Rupert Packer.
As part of the deal, Channel 71 will show two Friday night games - the first live - and one Sunday afternoon game. Their commentary team, made up of some of the sharpest minds in the game, will be Terry Hill, Gorden Tallis and Gary Larson for one Friday night game, Billy Moore, Andy Raymond and Tommy Raudonikis for the other, with the Sunday game to be a mixture of both.
