Mine worked fine, I even managed to swap one injured raiders centre for another (Purtell for Cross)

Skeepe, who's this Luke Isaac in your squad? Plays for Souths? I also just picked up a player from Souths, named Isaac Luke. Noticed he was named in the Rabbitohs lineup and thought I could do with an nextra player for the Origin period.

So it seems they have two players with the same names just backwards, so why does the one in my VRL team say he's not selected this week while yours says he is? My player is named in the Souths lineup though, dunno what's going on here?

Ahh yes definately Isaac Luke. Excuse my idiocy.

Interesting they seem to have duplicates for quite a few players though.

Don't count me out Pete. I've stormed into second spot and also put an end to your perfect winning streak (by way of a nice little 0-0 draw) :opps

Bugger, I'm against you this week R69.

You beat me 58-8 last time, and in the other comp you beat me 48 nil.

You hurt my feelings :(

I've got 3 VRL teams and a FoxSports team, and the Origin/Bye period really hit all 4 of them hard, and i've only really been able to recover for the Greenhouse comp. I just realised this is the second last round of the regular VRL season and I can lose this week and next week and still make the 8, so i'm happy just to get there. Hopefully keeping Gasnier and Marshall on my roster can provide the edge to win at least one Final game.

Have a look at my awesome team in another VRL comp i'm in:

1. William Zillman
2. Israel Folau
3. Chris Lawrence
4. Phil Graham
5. Taniela Tuiaki
6. Todd Carney
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Ruben Wiki
9. Aaron Payne
10. Jason Ryles
11. Andrew Ryan
12. Ian Hindmarsh
13. Dallas Johnson

14. Kurt Gidley
15. Eddie Paea
16. Paul Gallen
17. John Sutton

Res: Patrick Ah Van, Adam Cuthbertson, Nathan Friend, Steve Michaels, Josh Miller, Ben Ross, Anthony Tupou, Michael Weyman

I'm already sitting on 28 points after the two Friday matches, and should win this round. But, i'm sitting 10th overall and look a 95% certainty of missing the 8. Very frustrating to have such a gun team and not get a go at the Finals. 3rd best attack, 2nd worst defence in the comp. Sounds a bit like our Raiders.

Some of the tries conceded are a joke though. A couple of weeks back Inu was the best player on the park but somehow copped a play maker try against?

Yeah, they're a bit annoying. The same player scoring a defensive dynamo try, but also being able to concede a poor defender try is ****. I reckon once you've got one of those special tries, you can't concede one of the same. That'd be a more accurate representation I reckon.

Anyway, looks like I lose this round to Mr. Monbulk. But if **** Heighington would have just taken one hitup and made one tackle in the last 15 mins, he would've got me an Involvement Try and I would've won the round. Maybe he was on the bench at the time, I don't know, but it was frustrating watching the RLeague stats update with his stats doing nothing.

You can use Soward. You don't have to use your allocated goal kicker every week.

I have Soward - cool

I have tied to follow a very technical method to get to the playoffs

Disinterest and blind hope

So who's got SBW? 3 genuine tries, plus one forward try and a one playmaker try today.

With one match of the round to go, 5-8 in our comp are all winning the QFs, with 3rd and 4th staring at Week 1 exits. Good stuff.

  Could be upsets in all four finals games.

With the addition of Brenton Bowens try for me, and 1 goal (3 goals, 2 misses) for the Hurricanes, it looks to be 26-26. It all depends on whether Brenton Bowen gets a MIA penalty, which he has acquired plenty of all year. Can't see Faiumu getting any points either.

As expected Brenton Bowen gets a MIA penalty, but so does Michael Gordon.

22-all draw. But somehow I stay in the comp and Tonio's Hurricanes are out.
