Amongst all the glitz and glamour and celebrity comings and goings, we managed to catch up with head coach Arnie, 'the governator' Schwarzenegger, for a comment. 'Yah ve haf an eeeexcelleeeent fazility here in Coooogee and yah ve hafent gat ayny players yaht baht we are canfident of a strang seisen from tha teeeeeam'. The rest was largely incomprehensible but ended with a trademark laugh and muscle flex.
Manager Timbo was more understandable. 'We're looking to get a solid squad down this season, with a goalkicker a priority. We noted last year that it was a problem area for us. We also have a flashy new logo'. Manager Timbo also mentioned that changing to the name to 'Titans' was on the cards however the 'Troopers' or 'scoutleaders' as their known unoficially was retained.
When asked about the teams new fitness trainer Timbo was vauge, only saying he knew an excellent rehab facility in Myorka, spain. No further comments were made.
All in all it looks an excellent season for the Troopers.
