2006 VNRL League

Post by Roger Kenworthy »

Who's in this year?? It will be interesting to see who performs from a neutral standpoint. Once again Kris, PQ and Azz will be the guys to beat, while 69 is favoured to come last.

I believe due to a lack of funds by sponsors including the NRL.

I emailed Creatop today to find out if this game was back on the agenda this year.

Unfortunately I got a very short but direct response.

NO!!

Can anyone shed some more light on this or any other similar competitions.
Sportal simply does not cut it.

They really need to introduce the forward try rule to make it slightly interesting.

If sportal isnt a goer, the other idea is that we run our own competition some how :(

Awesome 8)

The Bobcats are looking to improve on last seasons where a horror injury toll and lack of management resulted in them finisihing very low on the table.

Looks like VNRL is out of action again, from http://virtualnrl.creatop.com.au/
We regret to announce that Virtual NRL will not be proceeding for the 2006 season.

Well I have an idea...but it's gonna take a bit of sorting out. We could, perhaps, run our own comp here, have a draft and so on, and use the VNRL rules.

If there's enough interest in it, I'll see what I can do.

id rather just do it on sportal again... a comp like that would take a lot of planning and effort and i could see it dying off towards the end... i don't want that to happen.
