rolling lockout is a must ( please )
Kicker points should be increased from 10. For example if you have one kicker who is 9 points leaves you nothing for a back up. Suggest 15 points . Gives you a chance for a top flight kicker and a decent back up.
Captains double points. It does make you think who you should captain and if you get it right then it pays off and can mean the difference to winning and losing.

It is the same here. You get 50% points for all 4 bench players.

I think the main three to potentially look at are squad sizes, available kicker points per team and the amount of delistings per year.

I agree completely, especially rolling lockout.
I also think increasing the squad changes from 20 up to about 30. You go thru changes so quickly, so having a few more will help.

Guys I have joined under the wrong account. I created one when I first started but changed it the next year. How do I leave the comp in my old team and join with the correct account/team?

What's your team? I can delete the team and you can join again with the other one.

I have made the following Rule changes with some explanations for the novices (the pros can let me know if I got anything wrong). Also let us know if you would prefer different squad size or trade/squad change deadlines.

- Max Squad Changes is increased to 30
- Squad size is increased to 26
- Rolling Lockout is enabled (move players in and out of your team up until kick off of their game)
- Waiver Wire (gives everyone 24 hours to bid for a dropped player, you win based off your position in the waiver queue and you move to the back of the queue if you successfully win a player)
- Trade Deadline is round 18 (not trades after this)
- Last Squad Round Change is Round 21
- Specialty Draft Cap is up from 10 to 15 (assume this is the kicker points)

I am unclear on a couple of the rules that can be changed:

Enable Bonus Position - This has two enabled, Captain and Kicker. Is the Kicker scoring normally doubled so I should leave this as is?
Salary Cap - This setting is $10, do I just disregard it?

If i recall the $10 salary cap if for kickers. You are able to only draft up to 10 dollars worth.

Correct. You will need to increase the salary cap to $15 to enable 15 kicking points

Enable bonus position. Both need to be selected.
Only the captain will be double points.

So what is the speciality draft cap setting?

It seems that it was something that was being set up but actually was not finished, hence it has no use yet.
Use the salary cap to increase the kicking points.

Edwahu I think you've nailed all of the concepts except for waiver wire.

At the moment waiver wire is set to be the team lowest on the table receives the player.

In future we'd like to have waiver preferences where you drop to the bottom of the list, but we don't have it right now.

I might have missed it but could the owners of the below three teams confirm what name they use on the forum before the draft?
  • The Gum Drops
    Pottsies Vikings GH
    Golden Points
Just a reminder the Draft will start at 5 PM AEDT next sunday, so please try and regularly check the forum from then or enter your preferences if you were going to use auto pick.

Golden Points belongs to me, Gum Drops belongs to my partner who doesn’t actually have an account here. Hope that’s ok! I’ll make sure to hassle her when it’s her turn

One question on draft order, does it randomize again when I start the draft? Or is it the order that's listed in the manager screen.

It will be the order it is currently set to which was randomised as you signed up.

Cool. So here is the Draft order for round 1:
  1. The Banana Hammocks
  2. Munster Mongrels
  3. Purtells Turtles
  4. Pottsies Vikings GH
  5. Hail Sezer
  6. The Gum Drops
  7. Golden Points
  8. Sir McSquid's Squad
  9. LimeGreenMachines
  10. Chicken Feets
  11. Sheriff GH
  12. Manchild's Club
Just a reminder it's a 26 round Snake Draft, so the order will reverse after each round, e.g Manchild gets pick 13, then the Banana Hammocks get pick 24 and 25 and so on. This site gives you a quick summary for a 20 round draft: https://ffmaverick.com/blog/snake-draft ... m-leagues/

It should move quickly if we all keep an eye on it and also have an idea who we want to draft. Slows up towards the end when there isn't much talent left

There are also draft preferences, so that quickens things up a bit too. Particularly if you're only a couple of turns away

One for Ferrett or Summit. I noticed that the Team Kickers (E.g Broncos Goals, Raiders Goals) are in the player list. Does this mean they are turned on by default already for this comp?

http://www.nrlceo.com/new-feature-team-kickers/

Same goes for needing to add locks, this seems to be already done.

Team kickers are not turned on. Default is the kicking points per player.

Locks are turned on already for this comp, and ready to go.
