Anyone like to volunteer to run The GH Tipping Comp?

Post by greeneyed »

Would anyone like to run a GH Tipping Competition this year? Because of the feedback survey at the end of last year, we've decided not to offer an additional GH prize... so the 2GB prizes (or prizes offered by whichever site is chosen) would be the ones on offer.

Looking forward to entering my rubbish tips for the first few rounds, then forgetting to submit my tips for round 4 and taking no more part in it for the rest of the year like I do pretty much every season.

A little disappointing to see there will be no separate prize this year. It's near impossible to get even close to the outright prizes in these comps. Last year I was on fire with my tipping and the best I could get up to was about 13th after about 20 rounds. Overall I ended up about 30th.

If people really want it let us know. We could do a jersey I guess. Just that in the survey, the Tipping Comp received a very low response, in terms of the things that were valued... for the second year in a row.

I think its worthwhile offering something, even if it's a voucher

OK, we'll go back to a voucher that'll cover a jersey... $200 should cover that. I'll set up a new thread to launch it.
