Instead of working out the bye rounds, I've gone the strategy of drafting at least one player from every club. Fingers crossed that helps!

I just draft and ignore the bye rounds, and budget for them to be complete **** lotteries.

I have to say while I enjoy selecting the team and everything, the scoring is crap. It's not a reflection of actual footy when most of the props are useless.

Yep, the scoring system is absolute balls, and to make matters worse, the Greenhouse comps have always been set up giving extra points for try assists and line breaks, making halves and fullbacks even more unbalanced compared to props. I've never liked it, but it is what it is. Why tinker with the default scoring though??

I don't play fantasy footy much but aren't supercoach, etc set up to give points for metres and tables made? It doesn't seem like that is the case. I had players last week who played decent games but got a 0 because they didn't get a try or an assist.

Yeah, Supercoach has a much more balanced scoring system. I just prefer the squad management aspects of NRLCEO.

Forwards in NRLCEO get what is called a "workhorse try", but it's pretty strange and often players get big fat zeros.

Points for tables made would be much lower now days since players are full time.

How good is Barba going at the moment. I have him as my Capt. HE has scored something like 60 points in 3 rounds with the captain double.
