My apologies. More off field distraction means I just don't have time to keep up with fantasy footy anymore. I should have pulled out a few weeks ago so someone could fill my spot but I was a little too optimistic thinking I could make the draft. So I announce my retirement and apologise for leaving the comp a team down. The way the draft works these days means I have no players at all so I'm out.

Thanks Lurch , shame it hasnt worked out.

Millsy has decided Lurch's team will now be a bye round , guaranteed 2 points for the round.

But name your team to play it as it will plays it part with the for and against .

Is Lurch's team still available? I'll do what I can with it and play around with what's available also if I get to choose one player from each team to trade a nuffie for. The player will be from outside their top 10 - they choose who is ineligible.

Let me know.

PS. Lurch, I hope all is well mate.
Avatar Bet - bleedgreen99 - Raiders to make (BG99)/miss(Lucy) the 8. Avatar from last round of regular season 2015 until GF 2016.
Signature Bet - Raider85 - Raiders to get(Lucy)/miss(R85) the wooden spoon. Signature for entire offseason.
Bottle of something to the value of $70 - Matthew Borewood to not see (Lucy)/to see (Piggles) a first grade game in 2015 for the Warriors.
The Name Change Bet - Regarding the three bets above;
I win all three I keep my name.
I win one I become "the Punish"
I lose all I become "Chicken Little"

:P Ha, thanks for the sympathy but there's no problems here. All the distractions are good ones leaving me too busy for another year of this comp. Happy to hand over the reigns to Lucy or otherwise if that's how you want to handle it.

We are going to miss you Lurch :D its all good mate no dramas at all.

You are welcome back anytime in future if you want to come back.

I was going to pick Lurch's team but depth now is pretty much piss poor, having a Bye is so bad, it will give everyone a nice boost to F/A each week.

Having a little extra depth will also be nice around Origin time, who knows what injuries will happen between now and round 1.

 love it.

The AS coach is pretty sure Valentine Holmes will be a weapon and dislodge the injury plagued Mick Gordon at FB this yr.

If Dem Men are interested in reopening talks later on once the season is underway, that's fine by us :)

Some of you guys should join a tier 3 LoL comp, 8 teams per comp with 22 player squads, pretty much stacked teams if you draft smart.

GD, McSquid and SLG, join up if you can, you guys would do well.

I'm not sure when or if the tier 3 comps have been filled yet, I know 4 spots should be available in each of the 6 comps, so you will need to be quick to join. Each comp is alined with a tier 2 comp and if you finish top 4 you will be promoted up next year.

Who do we speak to about joining a LoL comp.? Might be too late this year, but it sounds like there aren't any glitches with the site etc. anymore

I'll try find out about the Tier 3 comps this arve or tonight.

It will be good having a few more of us in LoL.

The draft last night was brilliant, it went so smooth.

Good news McSquid.

Nrlceo will be sending out an email to everyone later for Tier 3 LoL comps.

Jamie said plenty of spots available, all Tier 3 comps are alined to a Tier 2 comp for promotion/relegation next yr.

You can check out all the LoL info in the Legends thread or in the season guide if you got it.

1 is for a back , does not earn work horse , you can put a forward there but wont get a WH
2, 3 , 4 earn work horses

You can put backs in 2, 3 and 4. If any of then do enough D they will get a WH, 40+ tackles and runs.

I don't think it would happen to often though, if you have a backup 9 and a few back rowers put then in those spots.

We are almost ready to rumble for another year, hopefully everyone is ready to go.

I'm pretty sure I won't have to deal with the minor premiers curse this year, my team is a little below par to what I wanted anyway, lacking quality centres and depth at FB and HB thanks to getting booted in to everyone else's profile while drafting.

But it's a long year as we all know, you need some luck with injuries and players form.

Just remember this year bench 1 is for an outside back, bench 2, 3, 4 are for forwards to get a WH.
