The Easybeats - Rd2 Team Announcement

Better late than never.

Despite the dramatic turn of events earlier this week where assistant coaches Matt O'Matchup and billyt McPloderson got into fisticuffs in the weights room and had to be separated by a “defensive” Billy Slater king hit, they have eventually began speaking again and decided on dropping Jamie Buhrer and bringing Joel Edwards on to the bench.

Joel using his head and thinking quick and exploding “Joel Juice” everywhere on Saturday night has brought the attention of the selectors onto him and they hope for another “bloody” great performance against his old club.

Unfortunately Jamie Buhrer, must have told one too many engagement party stories as the entire team now don’t speak to him and have taken to calling him Zippy.

News Just in – Glenn Stewart has been sighted eating schnitty and watching porn in Fyshwick and word is will not be taking his place in the team. Joel Edwards has been brought into the starting line up, and Aiden “Christina A-” Guerra was to be brought onto the bench but Coach Lucy has decided to go with Luke Kelly.

Word is - Zippy Buhrer is attempting to catch a bus to the game by waiting outside a Bondi residents and crying “I need to see Billy!”

1. Sam Tompkins
2. Edrick Lee
3. Michael Jennings
4. Blake Ayshford
5. Daniel Tupou
6. Kieran Foran
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Aaron Woods
9. Cameron Smith (k)
10. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves
11. Nate Myles
12. Greg Bird
13. Joel Edwards

14. Mitchell Aubusson
15. Luke Kelly
16. Billy Slater
17. Jamie Soward

Barking Up the Right Tree
Image

Not to be complacent with their undefeated start to the season, the Terriers will make a number of changes ahead of their Round 3 clash with the Bengals. After their strong form over the first two rounds, James Tedesco and Gareth Widdop have been promoted to the starting side, whilst Justin Horo, Josh Reynolds, and Dylan Walker all move to the bench. Gareth Widdop will also take over kicking duties from Shaun Johnson, given the Warriors complete inability to resemble anything even remotely close to a football team.

The squad is as follows:

1. James Tedesco
2. Mitch Brown
3. Josh Morris
4. Kane Linnett
5. Mahe Fonua
6. Gareth Widdop (k)
7. Shaun Johnson
8. Robbie Rochow
9. Jake Friend
10. James Graham
11. Boyd Corder
12. Gavin Cooper
13. Simon Mannering

14. Michael Ennis
15. Justin Horo
16. Josh Reynolds
17. Dylan Walker*
*Dale Copley remains on standby should Walker not take the field.

PA Pissheads Name Team

Apparently the PA Pissheads have named a team to play somebody else this round. When quizzed about possible changes to last week's lineup, coach The Nickman responded with "****ed if I know, ask Larry."

This reporter is still unsure of who exactly Larry is.
