Baha Benji coming back must be music to the Silverbacks ears  Will Lurch take another gamble on Bunji or will Bunji get thrown off the bus before he gets back on it :D

Colts to be ridden into the ground

Image

They can claim to be unlucky , amassing over 100 points last start but failing to snare the win . You could also say they are unlucky with 565 points scored for the season ( 2nd best ) but sit equal last with 2 wins .

You could say they are unlucky that they now have to face competition heavyweights and current competition leaders Gold Coast Raiders.

Gold Coast Raiders are the Ebenezer Scrooge of theGH Premiership , conceding a miserly 374 points , best in the competition at an average of 53 points per game.

If the Colts are going to win then it will be with luck.

GC Raiders recruited Feki earlier in the week and now have unceremoniously dumped Merrit to the feeder club in the Gold Coast U12 girls comp.

They will still be missing Thaiday who is yet to return back to the Gold Coast as he continues his tour as a Royal groupie.

The All-Stars have made a few changes to the team to face the Termites this week. Inform FB Michael Morgan gets his first start of the year with useless **** Boyd pissed off to the bench, Wade Grahams good form gets him rewarded with a start in the back row, Creagh moves back to the bench, Kevin Kingston replaces Heighington in the 14 jersey on the bench.

All-Stars players have had the week off training after a hard fought win against rivals the Colts in Rd 7, we have now consolidated 2nd position on the ladder behind the GCR's, whatever happens this week we will be in a good position going in to the bye.

Ouch, congratulations GCR.

Could be a record score coming up in this demolition today for your Manly guys.

I have 4 pts from a Nugget try assist that haven't been added, if they aren't added by tomorrow they will be after the scores are finalized and put up in the fixtures page.
I'm not sure how champion stats have missed it when a line break assist was added, it was as plain as day Sandow putting Pauli Pauli in for the try last night.

Another issue at the moment is Nathan Friend has been given a DWH, but he hasn't run for 75m with his 50+ tackles so it should only be a WH awarded. If this also isn't sorted out by the time the scores are finalized it will be after the scores are up on the fixtures page.

It seems Nathan Friends DWH was all good so the Colts got to keep the 4 pts :woot:

Nuggets TA has now been added to All-Stars score in the fixtures finalized scores, thankfully the boys held on for the win anyway :D

Round 9 is a bye week, so everyone enjoy the week off and don't party too much.

Round 9 the GCR's and All-Stars play in a huge top of the table clash :thumbsup

I am on a massive downhill spiral without Farah and having no fullback the last two weeks.

Desperately hoping for Farah, Luke Lewis and either Tedesco or Zillman to be back after the bye!!

The top of the table clash has been a dud of a game because of some of the blowout scores, most of the WH forwards haven't needed to do too much D, when those forwards don't score it kills your team that week, it has cost both our teams, GCRs the most though.

If Shaun Johnson played the busted Raiders each week you would be unbeatable aussie :) surely he has to hit some consistent form soon.
