Got in on Wally Lewis, couldn't get in most of the day. Just finished my squad with the left overs.. The site is seriously **** up.

There are at least 2 teams with no players , the Gurus are one of them .

I asked him if he was having a dummy spit , he said he wasn't but why didn't he start selecting a team . There was enough quality players left .

The comp is going to be a dud if there aren't a full compliment of teams .

If the comp isn't legit with a champions league berth for the winner, its a waste of time.

I expect it to be scrapped tomorrow and it will be done again, pretty sure their is still another 7 comps to do before Thursday.

I have the Big Mal draft if the time suits me, that will be enough.

I doubt it will get scrapped. They just don't have time to re-draft it. What are they going to do? Put it 10am on a Tuesday Morning and expect to get 10 people drafting?

I was really looking forward to NRLCEO this year but it has turned out to be a huge disappointment. It seems the only drafts that weren't ruined were probably those who didn't use the draft system on the site at all (picked players independently of the site and went to the free agency after to select them).

I agree if there is another site for next year we should definitely move. I have turned a blind eye to the bugs and issues in the past because this was the only site I knew of who did this kind of thing (and you guys who started all this had done a great job in organising a promotion/relegation system here), but this year the issues have just been too major and have literally made every draft I have done a joke. I am in competitions now where there is no chance I can win, and I could point to the eventual winner right now. Even when it works for me, half the comp spits the dummy (probably rightfully) because they end up with a bunch of scraps and have to battle it out for 8th, 9th and 10th. Where is the fun in that?

Another possibility is we could do the draft independent of the site next year and use the free agency which eliminates the buggy draft process. Might also be possible to manually score it if it isn't too time consuming in which case we wouldn't need the site at all. I might try to score a couple rounds this year to see how long it takes. I assume it would just be a matter of going to nrlstats.com after the game and putting the data into a spreadsheet.

Anyway, it's up to you guys. It would be a shame to scrap it all together given how much work some of you have put into keeping it going. In my opinion, it is also much more enjoyable than the ordinary fantasy leagues where you would have been hard pressed to find a team without Ben Barba last year.

Doing our own draft is interesting , I can see issues but they could be overcome by the post time if a player was picked up by 2 teams.

Scoring would take a huge amount of time , I wouldn't envy anyone trying to do that.

The snake draft has seemed to work pretty well , if you can handle it dragging out , but it could be shortened if you can get everyone to agree to be on at a certain time , like we do for a quick draft.

Yep fine by me mate - it stands as is. It's a shame I won't get to defend my previous two Wally Lewis Titles but that's no worries. I'll join the Darren Lockyer Comp.

5 comps still to draft and today is it, I don't get any emails now so who knows what's happening, if I don't hear anything about the big mal draft in the next few hours I don't think I'll bother I had enough.

I contacted the site and they're going to open the remaining comps next week when hopefully most of the bugs have been fixed.
