Good luck gents in the final....

When is the date for keepers? If it was today, I would keep:

John Wall, Al Jeff, Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook and either Lowry or Bynum.

Bynum is a beast.

Alternatively I have Lowry, who should be a beast next year provided he gets healthy.

Don't listen to them, Shezza.

I'd be keeping Bynum. This league is shallow so even if he looks like giving you nothing again next year you can easily cut him and replace him with someone productive. At worst he's an 18/8 guy when healthy.

Take over them now Mikey C so that you can pick keepers or play with the waiver wire like Millsy just did....

E.g. Rondo.

I offered a trade to Luffty/Schifty that I think will strengthen their keepers for next year. Are we allowed to make 'off-season' trades or is there a trade deadline?

That's a good question.

Also - we need a keeper nomination date. I suppose you should be able to trade until the keeper nomination date.

Can we trade draft picks?

I can't think of the best way to implement a trade/signing deadline.

I'm figuring the best way to do it is to just maintain our rosters and then nominate our top 5 on the eve of the next draft.

So should I assume that Irwinfletch is not playing?

Sounds good to me. So no trading after the Grand Final then?

No. I'm saying that we can keep trading + signing up until the draft, and then when it comes time to draft we all announce our 5 untouchables.

How does everyone feel about trading draft picks? From a League Manager perspective, I think it's going to be a little too much hassle to be worth my while, but I'm easily swayed if everyone is for it.

I'm loving LeBron's absence.

If Dwight has a big one against the feeble Mavs frontline then the Colts could be in serious trouble.

There probably should be some sort of rule to stop people giving all their stars to another team on the eve of the finals if they can't make it, but I think we can probably just trust people not to do that kind of thing.

The trade I offered to Schifty was Steph Curry, Mike Conley Jnr., Brandon Jennings and Klay Thompson for Kevin Durant. The idea was to give him 3 pretty good (Top 40) keepers as well as Steph Curry (4th) to go with Tim Duncan in exchange for Durant. He messaged me back and said he didn't know much about the NBA and would go with whatever Luffty said.

That's the kind of trade I was thinking of, so let me know if you think that shouldn't be allowed to happen.

I'd say so. He is the only team who hasn't made a single move in the FA all year. :hmmm

I'm happy to keep an excel spreadsheet of the draft order and change it based on trades involving draft picks if you want.

I knew this would happen when the streak ended. Not panicking just yet though, still 15 days to go.

I personally wouldn't make that trade, because the league is shallow and players similar to Klay and Conley can be picked up on the waiver wire (I picked up JR Smith, for example). I wouldn't really have a major problem with that trade going down, but I think you should probably wait until the finals are over.

If you're willing to keep tabs on traded draft picks, be my guest.

Also, does anyone who of someone who could replace Irwin?

I'll have a look at our rosters but I will probably wait until after the Final with Rod is over before making any trades.
