Torres needs to bag at least four goals if I'm to have a respectable opening week.

In the same boat. Have him as my captain, couple of goals would help my **** start.

I'm trading Mata out after tonight so I hope RDM waits until the weekend to rest him.

No clean sheet but Ivanovic somehow found him self at the end of a break away to tap in a goal in the 95th minute after Federici went up for the final corner :D

Picked the wrong Chelsea players and it messed up my gameweek. :(

Ivanovic with 24 points and Hazard with 21 were the picks. Mata is playing way too deep now with Hazard in the team so i'll have to get him out of my team considering his price of 9.5m.

Hazard looks like an awesome buy. Wishing I made him captain this week though. Rooney was really the only player that let me down hugely.
Well, at least Jack got paid.

Cap'n Torres and Hazard are almost solely responsible for my meagre tally of 56 this week. My entire backline and goalkeeper managed to rack up a grand total of 2 points.

I'm not a complete noob to the game but that being said, I don't know half the players I've picked in my team.

Not even sure where to start as far as trades go. My nobodies did better than my elite.

As far as supporting a team in the EPL, I've decided to become a Newcastle fan. Is that a bad thing? I dunno. They'll do.

Marko you're Donkeys right? I know Chelsea were playing twice but gee, captaining Ivanovic was either complete genius on your part, or compelte ares!

Thanks Ramires btw for playing and screwing up my Dyer auto-sub :rant

Ivanovic was the only player from Chelsea or Reading in my squad so that made the decision easier.

He is a defender who likes to get forward and thought Chelsea would get at least 1 clean sheet..

That if he wasn't Serbian he wouldn't even be in my squad.

That was my motive for having Polish Podolski as my captain. It didn't work.

I feel a bit dirty for picking Jermain Defoe in my team - but he's literally the only striker Spurs have, so at least he's guaranteed to get a run.
Anddd the Spurs just signed Adebayor

I was considering signing Defoe.

No chance that would be happening now.

Adebayor looks a decent option now. Although he costs 9.5m so Tevez looks like he is still better value.

Tottenham are struggling, I'm not touching them at the moment.

I think Man City might touch up Liverpool tonight.

Yeh, I avoided Spurs players until I got a better idea of how well Villas-Boas was going to perform. Early signs aren't that great.

Luffty is doing well so far with Hazard getting a ton of points and Graham still to come off his bench with another 8.

Pretty happy with my performance, 67 points!

Had Lescott, Tery and Sinclair not play, so good considering. Also had Rooney and a couple of nuffies only score 1 point.

Have a few concerns next weekend, with no Chelsea playing, Sinclair seemingly off to Man City and Rooney gone for a month...

I scored exactly the same as last week. A measly 43. The lowest of anyone. :thumbsdown

I took a 4 point hit to get Hazard into the squad. Completely worth it as he scored 26 as my captain. :thumbsup

Hazard looks the goods already. 7 assists I believe in 3 games. Worth having in any team.

Scored 68 points to take me to 1st in the league.

Was very lucky, had Tevez captain which scored me 30 points, and Jono Walters who scored 12.

Me defense is a huge issue at the moment with all of the top teams having a leaky defense. At least I'll be able to play Hazard next game day.

I'm somehow sitting about fourth despite the fact my defence has barely kept a clean sheet between them so far. Carl Jenkinson is single-handedly keeping me afloat. Also, what is David Silva playing at - costing 10 mil of my salary cap and contributing a grand total of three points in three games?

Same. Traded him out today. Could come back to bite me but at the moment that 10 mil is better spent elsewhere.

Didn't see any of the midnight kick-offs last night, but it doesn't look like many of the popular players did much. The average score was only 26.

Shocking, shocking week so far.

Sitting on 23 points, with Ba, Fellani and Pienaar to come in. Also John Terry as an automatic substitution.
Well, at least Jack got paid.

Ended up on 49 points, Ba and Pienaar really saved me.

Slowly building a bit of a lead, 16 points in front!

Jermaine Defoe, of all people, saved my skin this week. A full quarter of my weekly score came from him, which is ironic considering I'd been trying to find ways to punt him from my team for about two weeks now.

I've brought Gareth Bale into the side this weekend for Kagawa in an attempt to start cutting down on this lead Luffty is building. :o

My problem right now is the over reliance on one player. Last week I got lucky that I selected Ba as captain, and my automatic subs saved me. I usually only have 1-2 players do really well, and then everyone else does nothing.

My captain selection has been shocking the last few weeks. Hopefully things will turn around tonight and Hazard will find some form again against a pretty poor Norwich side.
